UNIVERSAL ROW CLEARER BRACKET SYSTEM AND METHOD
A universal row clearing bracket including a mounting bracket configured to engage a toolbar of a tractor, wherein the mounting bracket may have a yoke engaged therewith. The yoke may connect to a first and second pivoting arm. One end of the pivoting arms configured to engage the yoke such that the yoke prevents the pivoting arms from moving with respect to the receiver past a certain point in at least one direction. The opposite end of the pivoting arms connecting to an interchangeable shoe, the interchangeable shoe configured to pivotally engage at least one engaging wheel and be replaced for other shoes to support different size engaging wheels.
WHEEL CARRIER SYSTEM
A system that includes a wheel carrier system. The wheel carrier system includes a wheel carrier arm that couples to a wheel and to a wheel carrier frame. A link rotates a ground engaging tool system with respect to a row unit to transition the ground engaging tool system from a lowered position to a raised position. An actuator that simultaneously rotates the first wheel carrier arm from a first position to a second position and the ground engaging tool system from the lowered position to the raised position.
SEED TUBE GUARD AND ASSOCIATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF USE
A seed delivery shield, comprising a shield body comprising at least one roll pin opening configured for mounting the shield body to a row unit shank via a roll pin and at least one debris relief opening, a retention apparatus configured to attach the shield body to a row unit, and a spring plate shaped to be at least partially engaged with a rear portion of the shield body and extending rearward toward a seed delivery tube. The spring plate configured to protect the row unit and seed tube from damage during and prior to planting operations.
Seed planter with equalizer assembly
A bracket for use with an agriculture planter including a trailing arm frame defining a pivot point thereon may include an arm bracket assembly with first and second arms. Each arm may extend from a middle portion of the bracket. First and second implements may be rotatably mounted on mounting ends of two of the arms. The middle portion of the bracket may be pivotally coupled to the trailing arm frame at the pivot point.
MOUNT FOR AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT
A row unit for an agricultural implement has a mounting device with a rail portion for sliding engagement with a seed delivery device to facilitate quick and easy installation and removal of the seed delivery device without the use of tools. A seed meter is mounted to the underside of a cover such that as the cover is opened the seed meter moves with the cover away from the seed delivery device to provide convenient access to both the seed meter and the seed delivery device. A cam and pawl arrangement selectively retains the cover in the open position.
Row unit position control system
An agricultural implement system that includes a first toolbar section, a first row unit coupled to the first toolbar section, a second toolbar section, a second row unit coupled to the second toolbar section, and a row unit position control system. The system includes a sensor that detects an angle of the second toolbar section with respect to the first toolbar section. A controller couples to the sensor. The controller raises the first row unit and/or the second row unit in response to the angle to block contact of the first row unit and/or the second row unit with the ground.
WORK VEHICLE WITH ROW UNIT HAVING VARIABLE STEERING ANGLE
A row unit for a work vehicle includes a row unit frame with a closer frame. The closer frame defines a longitudinal axis and a transverse axis. The closer frame is supported for rotational movement about a substantially vertical steering axis to vary a turning angle between the longitudinal axis the vehicle longitudinal axis. The row unit includes a closer implement assembly with first and second closer implements and a walking beam construction. The first and second closer implements are attached to opposite areas of the walking beam construction. The walking beam construction is rotationally attached to the closer frame to support rotation of the closer implement assembly about the transverse axis. The first and second closer implements are configured to move ground material into a ground opening from opposites sides as the work vehicle moves across the field.
BRACKET SYSTEM
An agricultural system that includes a planter frame. A track and/or wheel couple to and support the planter frame. A first row unit bracket couples to the planter frame. A first offset bracket couples to the first row unit bracket. A first row unit couples to the first offset bracket. The first offset bracket offsets the first row unit from a path of the track and/or wheel.
SEED METER SINGULATOR
A seed meter includes a meter housing having a first chamber for seeds and a second chamber. A seed disk is rotatably supported within the meter housing and has a first side and a second side. The first side is exposed to the first chamber and the second side is exposed to the second chamber. The seed disk includes a plurality of seed openings that extend between the first and second sides at a predetermined radial position. A singulator is positioned against the first side of the seed disk and has at least one structure for removing excess seeds from the seed openings as the seed meter disk rotates relative to the singulator. A radial position of the singulator is controlled at least in part by a hub portion of the seed meter. A biasing spring is positioned to exert an axially-oriented bias force pressing the singulator against the first side of the seed meter disk.
METERING MEMBER AND METHOD OF MOUNTING THE SAME
A seed metering system for metering a plurality of seeds includes a meter housing having a first side and a second side. A seed inlet is positioned at the first side and an aperture is positioned at the second side. The seed metering system further includes a hub mounted within the aperture, a retaining member located at the hub, and a metering member positioned on the hub. The metering member compressively engages the retaining member.
