The system includes a sensor that detects an angle of the second toolbar section with respect to the first toolbar section. A controller couples to the sensor. The controller raises the first row unit and/or the second row unit in response to the angle to block contact of the first row unit and/or the second row unit with the ground.

A closing wheel assembly is provided for a seed row planter unit behind the gauge wheel assembly and furrow disks of the planter unit. The closing wheel assembly includes a coupler with a pair of closing wheels mounted thereon. A single pin removably extends through the coupler and through the gauge wheel assembly to detachably mount the closing wheel assembly to the gauge wheel assembly. Different closing wheel assemblies can be quickly mounted on the row unit, depending upon the type of seed being planted. The closing wheels are laterally adjustable via a rotatable threaded bushing so as to be centered behind the furrow disks.

A row unit for a work vehicle includes a row unit frame with a closer frame. The closer frame defines a longitudinal axis and a transverse axis. The closer frame is supported for rotational movement about a substantially vertical steering axis to vary a turning angle between the longitudinal axis the vehicle longitudinal axis. The row unit includes a closer implement assembly with first and second closer implements and a walking beam construction. The first and second closer implements are attached to opposite areas of the walking beam construction. The walking beam construction is rotationally attached to the closer frame to support rotation of the closer implement assembly about the transverse axis. The first and second closer implements are configured to move ground material into a ground opening from opposites sides as the work vehicle moves across the field.

Agricultural implement nozzle assemblies of the present disclosure may include a meter input housing, a locking tab, and a tubular nozzle. The meter input housing may include a tubular opening. The locking tab may protrude from a peripheral region of the tubular opening. The tubular nozzle may include a locking mechanism complementary to the locking tab protruding from the peripheral region of the tubular opening. The nozzle may be rotatable relative to the tubular opening when the nozzle is coupled to the meter input housing via the locking mechanism and the locking tab. The rotating disk cuts a furrow in a planting surface for receiving a first agricultural product such as fertilizer from the first product delivery arrangement. The second product delivery arrangement has a cutting edge that cuts a vertically and horizontally offset trench in a side wall of the furrow for receiving a second agricultural product such as seed. The resilient mounting arrangement provides limited resilient movement about a neutral position of the second product delivery arrangement under action of the soil on the second product delivery arrangement.
