Each of the spreading units includes at least one pneumatically operated separating device to or from which a separation air flow is suppliable or dischargeable and a fertilizer application device. The spreading machine includes a conveying air-driven seed feeding device for providing seed from the seed hopper to the spreading units, and an energy-powered fertilizer supply device for providing fertilizer to the fertilizer application devices. To refine a spreading machine that includes a plurality of consumers, it is provided that the spreading machine includes at least two separate energy suppliers, in particular blowers or pumps, for providing the separation air flows to the separating devices, the conveying air to the seed device, and the energy to the fertilizer supply device.

WORK VEHICLE WITH COMMODITY METERING SYSTEM AND AIRFLOW SYSTEM

A work vehicle with a metering system, airflow system, and a covering structure moveable between various positions for user access includes features that facilitate assembly and/or disassembly of the metering system. The work vehicle has a venturi structure with a plurality of venturi tubes that are disposed in a compact arrangement.

Opposite belt-type precise seeding device

The present invention discloses an opposite belt-type precise seeding device. The opposite belt-type precise seeding device comprises a seed metering tube consisting of a U-shaped shell and a cover plate, two conveying devices provided inside the seed metering tube in parallel, and a conveying plate provided at the lower end of the seed metering tube. The opposite belt-type precise seeding device belongs to the field of agricultural machinery. In a seeder, a tubular seed conveying tube is usually used for guiding movement of seeds, but the movement of the seeds in the seed conveying tube has certain randomness, so that the seed distance consistency of the seeds in a seed bed is reduced. Through control of the seeds by the conveying devices, the stable movement of the seeds is achieved and the seed distance consistency of the seeds in the seed bed is guaranteed.

SINGULATING METER

A singulating meter includes a seed disc with seed apertures rotates in a vertical plane through a seed reservoir. A horizontal seed tube has an inlet adjacent to the top of the seed disc and the seed apertures move along a seed aperture path toward the inlet. Pressurized air flows into the tube inlet, and through each seed aperture as it rotates upward out of the seed reservoir pushing a seed into each seed aperture which seed then moves along the seed aperture path through about 180 degrees of rotation to a release position at the top of the path where the seed is carried horizontally into the seed tube. An ejector pushes debris out of the seed apertures into the seed tube. An alignment guide moves the singulator element of the meter into the operating position where same is magnetically secured.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SPRAYING SEEDS DISPENSED FROM A HIGH-SPEED PLANTER

A planter system for planting seeds and spraying fluid includes a seeder assembly including a seed tube and a conveyor apparatus configured to propel or carry the seed through the seed tube. The planter system also includes a sensor configured to transmit a detection signal upon detection of the seed passing a detection location. The planter system also includes a control system configured to determine a travel time of the seed from the detection location to a furrow based on a baseline drop time for the seed, a baseline travel speed of the seeder assembly, and an operating travel speed of the seeder assembly. The control system is configured to transmit a control signal to a valve coupled to a nozzle assembly based on the travel time and the detection signal to spray the fluid on or adjacent the seed.

MOUNTING STRUCTURE FOR DOWN-PRESSURE SYSTEM FOR OPENER ASSEMBLY OF AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT
20170367250 · 2017-12-28 ·

A down-pressure system for an agricultural implement has a linear actuator connected between a frame assembly and an opener assembly. A mounting structure for connecting the linear actuator to the opener assembly includes a bushing and an alignment member attached to the linear actuator. The bushing has protrusions extending transversely from opposite sides of a longitudinal axis of the linear actuator. Each protrusion has a curved engagement surface for engaging a flat surface on the opener assembly to prevent bending stresses on the linear actuator when the opener assembly is raised and lowered. The alignment member is arranged to lock the bushing into a predetermined rotational position about a longitudinal axis of the linear actuator relative to the opener assembly. The alignment member comprises a first structure that mates with a corresponding structure on the bushing, and a second structure that engages opposite sides of the opener assembly.

SEED FURROW LIQUID APPLICATION SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND APPARATUSES

In one aspect, a crop input applicator is provided. In one aspect, the applicator comprises a valve (e.g., voice coil valve) disposed to deposit liquid on or near a seed furrow and/or on or near a seed. In one aspect, the applicator includes one or more seed sensors disposed to detect passage of seeds.
