PLANTER ROW UNIT WITH LOAD SENSING DEPTH STOP ASSEMBLY

A row unit for a seeding machine includes a frame supporting a gauge wheel and a seed meter. A depth stop assembly includes a stop setting an upward travel limit of the gauge wheel with respect to the frame, and a handle that is lockable and releasable to move the stop to select among seeding depths. A downforce actuator is operable to generate downforce to be applied through a gauge wheel arm and the gauge wheel to the soil. A downforce sensor is incorporated into the depth stop assembly and movable therewith. The depth stop assembly includes a multi-piece body having a first piece receiving the handle, and a second piece defining a pivot. The first piece of the multipiece body includes a handle-receiving receptacle portion, a fastening portion for fastening to the second body piece adjacent the pivot, and a portion therebetween forming a housing of the downforce sensor.

Hybrid tillage implement for vertical tillage and aeration of soil with deposit of soil additive

An agricultural tillage implement has a vertical tillage section and an aerating section behind the vertical tillage section, each extending substantially perpendicular to the pull direction of the implement. Individual vertical tillage elements, such as disc blades, can be indexed with individual rotary tine assemblies of the aerator section so that discrete holes formed by the aerator section are positioned between substantially continuous slits formed by the vertical tillage section. A ground deposit system deposits a component on the ground and may be configured for conducting and depositing a granular component, such as seeds, fertilizers, minerals or the like, or liquid components, such as liquid manure.

Metering device for agricultural product

A metering device for dispensing agricultural product from a bin. The metering device comprises an upper housing and a lower housing removably engaged with the upper housings. The metering device further includes at least one metering wheel positioned within an interior space presented by the upper housing or the lower housing.

Downforce monitoring system for an agricultural row unit

A downforce monitoring system for an agricultural row unit includes a controller configured to receive a first input signal indicative of torque applied to a gauge wheel support arm. The controller is also configured to receive a second input signal indicative of an angle of the gauge wheel support arm relative to a frame of the agricultural row unit. In addition, the controller is configured to determine a determined downforce applied to a soil surface by a gauge wheel rotatably coupled to the gauge wheel support arm based on the torque and the angle. The controller is also configured to output a first output signal of the determined downforce, to output a second output signal to a downforce actuator to control a downforce applied to the soil surface by the gauge wheel based on the determined downforce and a target downforce, or a combination thereof.

PRESS WHEEL WITH ANGLED TINES

An agriculture planter includes a planter frame, a seed hopper, and a trailing arm assembly. The planter frame may include a hitch tongue extending forwardly from the planter frame. The trailing arm assembly may be coupled to a rear portion of the planter frame via a parallel linkage and extend rearward from the planter frame, and include separate but adjustable trailing arm assemblies for the opening implements and the closing implements.

CLOSING SYSTEM FOR A SEEDER ROW UNIT

A row unit of a seeder includes a frame configured to be coupled to a toolbar of the seeder. The row unit also includes a single opener disc rotatably coupled to the frame and a closing system. The closing system includes a closing disc arm pivotally coupled to the frame and a closing disc rotatably coupled to the closing disc arm. The closing system also includes a packer wheel arm pivotally coupled to the frame. The packer wheel arm and the closing disc arm are configured to rotate independently of one another relative to the frame. In addition, the closing system includes a packer wheel rotatably coupled to the packer wheel arm. Furthermore, an agricultural product storage compartment is not non-movably coupled to the frame.

SEEDER ROW UNIT HAVING A CLOSING SYSTEM

A row unit of a seeder includes an opener having a shank and a blade rigidly coupled to the shank. The shank is configured to be movably coupled to a toolbar of the seeder. The row unit also includes a closing system having a frame coupled to the opener. The frame is only coupled to the toolbar via the opener. In addition, the closing system includes a closing disc arm pivotally coupled to the frame and at least one closing disc rotatably coupled to the closing disc arm. The closing system also includes a packer wheel arm coupled to the frame and a packer wheel rotatably coupled to the packer wheel arm.

Modular agricultural toolbar

A modular agricultural toolbar comprising at least one retractable implement attachment member capable of accommodating various agricultural implementations, as well as a plurality of continuous track units for operational use and a plurality of wheels for transportation and storage use. The implement attachment members further capable of extending along a central axis, increasing the coverage areas of a given agricultural process while also being capable of folding horizontally alongside the core frame of the toolbar to enable ease of transportation and storage.

MODULAR AGRICULTURAL PLANTER

An agricultural implement includes a fertilizer section. The fertilizer section includes a first interface configured to engage a three-point hitch, and a second interface configured to engage an interface of a planter section. Further, the interface of the planter section is configured to engage the three-point hitch.

Apparatus for combining planting implements
11770990 · 2023-10-03 ·

An apparatus for combining planting implements enables an operator of a tractor to use both a conventional cultivating implement and a conventional broadcasting implement simultaneously. The apparatus is rigidly affixed to a conventional cultivating implement and comprises a support frame, a pair of brackets, and a connection bar. In combination, the support frame, pair of brackets, and connection bar provide a three-point connection whereby a conventional broadcasting implement may be attached thereto, thus enabling an operator of a tractor to use both a conventional cultivating implement and a conventional broadcasting implement simultaneously. In operation, at least a portion of the conventional cultivating implement is disposed behind the conventional broadcasting implement when the conventional broadcasting implement is attached to the support frame, thereby allowing simultaneous cultivation and broadcasting of constituents.
