The invention relates to a method for producing a hollow injection-moulded part, in particular a primary packaging means for medical applications by an injection moulding method, comprising the following method steps: a) Providing a first female die tool having a first mould cavity and a mould core formed as a male die tool; b) Introducing a mould core into the first mould cavity so that a first cavity is formed and the mould core extends beyond the mould cavity in the axial direction (X), thereby bringing the mould core into operative contact with the first female die tool and/or with a receiving member; c) Injecting a first plastic material into the first cavity so that a first portion of the injection-moulded part is formed; d) Transferring the first portion of the injection-moulded part to a second cavity; e) Injecting a second plastic material into the second cavity so that a second portion is formed directly on the first portion of the injection-moulded part.

The present invention is intended to provide a manufacturing method of an insert molded article that makes it possible to manufacture efficiently the insert molded article including a metallic insert, an inside member made of a synthetic resin and covering a portion of the insert, and an outside member made of a synthetic resin different from the material of the inside member and covering a portion of the inside member using general molding machines, not a dedicated two-color molding machine.

General molding machines are used to manufacture the insert molded article formed by injection molding of a resin part in twice. An insert core 7 is used in common in primary molding using a primary molding die C1 and in a secondary molding using a secondary molding die. A round shaft 7C of the insert core 7 is fitted into an internal hole 2C of an insert 2 to form a coupled body 10 in which the insert 2 and the insert core 7 are coupled together. The coupled body 10 is used in common at the primary molding step and the secondary molding step.

INJECTION MOLDING DEVICE

An injection molding device has a first mold half, an index plate that in a molding position is at least partly received in the first mold half, and an index plate axle connected with the index plate. The index plate axle is arranged for linear movement along its longitudinal axis relative to the first mold half so that the index plate can be moved between the molding position and a turning position in which the index plate can be rotated with respect to the first mold half. An adaptor plate, connected to the first mold half, has a drive and a first coupling element coupled with the drive. The first coupling element is arranged eccentric with respect to the longitudinal axis of the index plate axle. The first mold half has a second coupling element engaged with the first coupling element. The second coupling element is coupled with the index plate axle for rotating the index plate axle around the longitudinal axis.
