Device for delivering solid particles on demand, intended for agricultural machinery
Device for delivering solid particles on demand, intended for agricultural machine, wherein the delivery on demand of solid particles to a receiving device is regulated, particularly in the field of technology for transporting solid granulated materials by means of an air stream, without being exclusive, in agricultural machinery when an air stream is used to transport seeds or fertilizer granules from at least one central hopper to the dosing/metering equipment located on the sowing unit, and including a source of pressurized air, a distributor of solid particles “S”, a hopper whose bottom feeds solid particles “S” to the distributor and a plate permeable to the passage of air and on which said particles “S” settle.
Tagged Container Tracking
A system and method that automatically monitors product use, such as the type and amount of agricultural and/or horticultural product stored in and dispensed from a cartridge over time and/or by geographic location. Monitored data are stored in memory such as a tag on the cartridge and may be transmitted to a server for storage, aggregation, and analysis. The cartridge may be authenticated before being authorized for use for the benefit of a current user in dispensing the product. The cartridge may be refilled after confirmation of authorization codes on the cartridge and refilling equipment tags. The cartridge may be calibrated automatically based on the bulk density or other parameter of the product in the cartridge. Data may be aggregated from a plurality of cartridges automatically. As-applied data from individual cartridges may be used to verify, independent of operator input, treated area coverage and product application rate.
MOUNTING ASSEMBLY FOR AN AGRICULTURAL PRODUCT METER
A mounting assembly for an agricultural product meter includes an upper mount configured to support at least a portion of a weight of the agricultural product meter. The upper mount is configured to couple to a support structure. The mounting assembly also includes a pin configured to engage the agricultural product meter via movement of the pin along a longitudinal axis of the pin. In addition, the mounting assembly includes a lower mount configured to selectively receive the pin via movement of the pin along the longitudinal axis of the pin. The lower mount is configured to couple to the support structure, and the pin is configured to block movement of the agricultural product meter away from the support structure while the pin is engaged with the agricultural product meter and the lower mount.
REMOVABLE ROLLER WITH ROTATION INDICATOR
One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for metering assembly for an agricultural seeder. The metering assembly can be configured for quick and easy removal and replacement, where merely the assembly is removed without disassembling other parts of the seeder system. An improved coupler, in conjunction with a threaded knob device, allows for quick and easy access to the assembly, for removal and replacement in a metering tube. A visual indicator can be disposed on the end of a rotating shaft to provide a user with a quick confirmation that the assembly is properly rotating during operation.
Particle delivery assembly of an agricultural row unit
A particle delivery assembly of an agricultural row unit includes a particle tube configured to receive a particle and to deliver the particle toward a trench in soil. The particle tube includes a first body portion, a second body portion, and a hinge coupled to the first body portion and to the second body portion. The hinge is configured to enable the first body portion and the second body portion to pivot relative to one another between an open position of the particle tube and a closed position of the particle tube.

METHOD OF DETERMINING REMAINING SEED IN A PRODUCT DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AND SYSTEM THEREOF
An agricultural work machine includes a frame and a tank coupled to the frame for storing a product. The tank includes a nozzle portion. A row unit is coupled to the frame and includes a hopper and a meter assembly. A product distribution line is coupled between the nozzle portion of the tank and the hopper. A blower is controlled to provide an air flow through the distribution line to transfer product from the tank to the row unit, and a mechanism located in the tank above the nozzle portion is controllable between an open position and a closed position. In the open position, the product in the tank flows through the mechanism into the nozzle portion, and in the closed position, the mechanism blocks the product in the tank from flowing into the nozzle portion.
Spreader
A spreader for spreading a material including at least one pair of rotating discs having a plurality of generally radially oriented blades attached thereon for disbursing the material in a pre-selected pattern. The discs are rotatably positioned below an end of a funnel unit to receive material passing through the funnel units. The material, as it passes through the funnel units, is directed to a predetermined impact region on each of the rotating discs by a corresponding pair of deflecting vanes integrally fit and movably attached within each funnel of the pair of funnel units. Each deflecting vane is selectably movable by a corresponding actuator from a first position to a second position while the spreader is operating.
PLANTER HAVING A SEEDING SYSTEM
A planter for planting seeds in the ground including a seed meter configured to provide a regulated flow of seeds, and a seed conduit defining a first portion of a flow path configured to transport the seeds from the seed meter towards the ground. The planter also includes a seed guide having an aperture in fluid communication with the seed conduit, the seed guide defining a second portion of the flow path configured to transport the seeds from the seed conduit towards the ground, and a shaft configured to reciprocate with respect to the seed guide through a stroke path towards and away from the ground. The shaft is configured to create a discrete hole in the ground for one of the seeds. A side of the shaft is configured to inhibit the one of the seeds from entering the second portion of the flow path until the shaft retracts past the aperture.
Crop input supply system, methods and apparatus
A crop input transfer system for transferring a crop input to an implement tank supported on an implement dispensing the crop input, the crop input transfer system includes a mobile supply vehicle powered independent of the implement. The mobile supply vehicle has a boom and a supply tank holding a crop input supply. The crop transfer system includes a coupler with a first coupler portion that matingly couples with a second coupler portion. The first coupler portion is mounted to the boom and the second coupler portion is mounted to the implement. The crop input supply in the supply tank is communicated to implement tank via the matingly coupled first and second coupler portions.
