ROTARY MOLD TYPE INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE AND METHOD FOR EXCHANGING MOLD MEMBER OF ROTARY MOLD TYPE INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE
A rotary mold type injection molding machine and a method for exchanging mold members of a rotary mold type injection molding machine are provided which enable relatively easy mold member exchange in a short time. The rotary mold type injection molding machine includes a fixed platen, a movable platen which is opened and closed in a horizontal direction with respect to the fixed platen, and a rotary table to which mold members are mounted and which is rotatably provided on one of the fixed platen and the movable platen. A mold-member moving mechanism which horizontally moves the mold member upon mold member exchange is provided on the rotary table.
MOVABLE PLATEN, OPENING/CLOSING APPARATUS AND MOLDING APPARATUS
A movable platen according to the present invention includes: a mold clamping platen having a projecting portion in a mold closing direction-side surface; a mold mounting platen mounted to the projecting portion of the mold clamping paten; and a guide mechanism fixed to the mold clamping paten and supporting the mold mounting platen. Only the mold clamping paten is fixed to the guide mechanism, while the mold mounting platen is not fixed but placed on platen surface support portions.
METHOD AND SYSTEM TO ELIMINATE DROPPING OF MOLDS FOR A MOLDING MACHINE ARRANGEMENT
A method and system is provided for operating a molding machine to prevent damage when replacing a mold. The molding machine includes movable and fixed magnetic platens to open and close a mold. The system includes a flux sensor. When a set-up mode is selected, an electronic processor is configured to: enable movement of the movable magnetic platen when the crane is above the molding machine; the molding machine receives a crane load signal that is less than a marginal load value; and the flux sensor senses that the magnetic platens are magnetized and the magnetic circuit is completed; and enable movement of the movable platen to remove/insert the mold when the crane is above the molding machine; the molding machine receives a crane load signal wherein a load is greater than the marginal load value; and the flux sensor senses that the magnetic circuit is not completed.
Die casting machine having improved mounting plate
The present invention relates to a mounting plate, in particular a fixed mounting plate, for a die-casting machine, wherein the mounting plate has a dome-shaped cavity, the base of which is in the second side of the mounting plate and is open and which tapers towards the centroid of the receiving openings on the first side. The present invention further relates to a die-casting machine having such a mounting plate.

Injection unit (3) comprises: cylinder (32); screw (33) at least a part of which is housed in cylinder (32) and that is rotatable and movable in an axial direction of cylinder (32); drive shaft (42) that drives screw (33); connecting shaft (41) that connects screw (33) and drive shaft (42); and support member (52) that is located between screw (33) and drive shaft (42), that allows connecting shaft (41) to rotate and move axially, and that supports connecting shaft (41) at least in the vertical direction.
ADDITIONAL INJECTION MODULAR SYSTEM
Additional injection modular system applicable in any process for molding parts or products by polymer injection is provided, wherein injecting one or more parts or products with a single material or a plurality of polymer materials requiring separate, simultaneous or sequential complementary injections becomes necessary in addition to the injection of a base material processed in a conventional injection machine. The system has a module configurable in both composition and dimension with optimized rheological and energy behavior which is installed between the closure assembly plates of the base machine and the mold, comprising a frame, front mold clamping plate, structure clamping plate, structure spacer blocks, at least one additional injection assembly, at least one additional injection nozzle and injection nozzle extension. The system herein can be used in the production of parts by injection processes generally designated as multi-component injection.
Fixed platen of injection molding machine
A fixed platen of an injection molding machine is provided with a first leg protruding at a substantially central portion of a lower part and secured to a base frame and second legs protruding left and right. Each of the second legs is provided with a thin portion thinner than the fixed platen. Thus, a deformation difference between the upper and lower sides of the fixed platen caused during nozzle touch operation or when the fixed platen is subjected to a mold clamping force can be reduced.
PLATEN WITH INTEGRATED ROTARY PLATE
A platen apparatus for supporting a mold portion in an injection molding machine includes a platen body and a mold mounting face adjacent a front of the platen body for supporting a mold half. The mold mounting face includes a rotary central surface that is rotatable about an axis relative to the platen body and a fixed peripheral surface that is fixed relative to the platen body. The peripheral surface is disposed about a periphery of the central surface. The central surface and the peripheral surface are alignable in a common vertical plane.
Mold-clamping mechanism
A mold-clamping mechanism in which top and bottom tie bars extend between a pressure-receiving platen and a fixed platen fixed to a bed, a movable platen is movably attached to the tie bars, a toggle link extends between the movable platen and the pressure-receiving platen, the movable platen is moved toward the fixed platen by the toggle link, and a mold is clamped by the movable platen and the fixed platen. The pressure-receiving platen includes a bottom part surrounding a central cavity, and a ceiling part for joining respective top ends of left and right wall parts provided upright from both ends of the bottom part. An opening via which the cavity communicates with the outside is provided to the bottom part and the ceiling part.
Molding apparatus and methods
A plastic molding system comprises: dispensing, pre-shaping and shaping cells and a transport subsystem. The dispensing cell has a station for dispensing a dose of plastic feedstock. The pre-shaping and shaping cells each comprise a plurality of stations for shaping the workpiece into a preform shape and into a final shape, respectively. The transport subsystem advances a workpiece along a selected one of a plurality of process paths to form a molded article. Each of the plurality of process paths is defined by a combination of stations of the dispensing cell, the pre-shaping cell and the shaping cell.
