SPREADER
A spreader for spreading a material includes a first hopper for receiving a first material, and a pair of first dispensers, each first dispenser of the pair of first dispensers defining a corresponding first spread section for dispensing the first material from the first hopper. A second hopper is selectably receivable in the first hopper, the second hopper for receiving a second material, and a pair of second dispensers, each second dispenser of the pair of second dispensers defining a corresponding second spread section for dispensing the second material from the second hopper. Each second dispenser of the pair of second dispensers is selectively operable independently of each first dispenser of the pair of first dispensers.
AGITATION CONTROL SYSTEM FOR PARTICULATE MATERIAL
A particulate material agitation control system includes a metering system and an agitation control system. The metering system includes a first meter at a first position of the metering system and a second meter at a second position of the metering system. The agitation control system an agitating system and a controller having a memory and a processor. The agitating system includes a drive system. The controller is configured to determine a first output amount of particulate material at the first position, determine a second output amount of the particulate material at the second position, determine whether a difference between the first output amount and the second output amount is greater than an output difference threshold value, and output an activation signal to the agitating system indicative of instructions to activate the drive system in response to determining that the difference between the first output amount and the second output amount is greater than the output difference threshold value.
Fertilizer Spreader for Orchards
An orchard fertilizer spreader has rearwardly positioned conveyors that are independently laterally extendable between a minimum width transport position and a maximum width operating position to deliver fertilizer from a supply tank to the orchard trees. The conveyors are mounted in a longitudinally spaced configuration to permit a diverter box to supply fertilizer to either conveyor or to both conveyors simultaneously through manipulation of diverter panels. The conveyors are mounted on a support pan formed with a plurality of rollers to facilitate the lateral extension of the conveyors. The support pan is pivotally mounted on a frame to forma a breakaway that enables the conveyors to rotate in the event of impact between a conveyor and an object. The reset of the conveyors into the laterally extended position is accomplished with a hydraulic cylinder. The conveyors can be laterally extended manually, or via a hydraulic cylinder.

Method for Controlling an Agricultural Spreading Machine
A method for controlling an agricultural spreading machine during the discharging of spreading material on an agricultural area, comprising: using a conveyor belt of the spreading machine to feed the spreading material to be discharged along an idling section, which relates to a longitudinal section of the conveyor belt, wherein the idling section lies between a rate-setting plane, in which the feed rate of spreading material entering the idling section is set by a feed-rate-setting device of the spreading machine, and an ejection plane, in which the feed rate of spreading material leaving the idling section is ejected from the conveyor belt in the direction of a first and a second spreading disc.

PARTICULATE MATERIAL DISTRIBUTION APPARATUS AND METHOD
An apparatus for distributing particulate material has a plurality of independently weighed hoppers from which particulate materials are metered into a common collector and distributed to the environment with a common venture air system. Metering devices associated with at least two of the hoppers may be oriented in a face-to-face configuration.

An apparatus includes a shaft, a first barrel, and a second barrel. The shaft has a first end, a second end, and a longitudinal axis of rotation. The first barrel surrounds a first portion of the shaft and is fixed to the shaft to rotate therewith. The second barrel surrounds a second portion of the shaft and is configured to rotate about the axis independent of a rotation of the shaft.
Metering of granular materials including seeds
Wheat or other granular, flowable material is supplied from a metering hopper at a controlled rate through a limiting aperture at a base of a hopper side wall. A moving surface which has served as a floor of the hopper emerges through the aperture, carrying a covering of material out and toward a material disposal area and is then recirculated into the hopper. The moving surface is a repeatedly used upper surface of a disc or cone that is rotated by a motor. Supply of material is immediately varied by varying the speed of the moving surface.
