Injection-molding station for the manufacture of multilayer preforms
An injection-molding station for the manufacture of multilayer preforms comprises an injection-molding machine (2), at least one multi-component nozzle (3), at least two melt accumulators (4, 5) constructed as cylinder accumulators and connected thereto, at least two plasticizer units (6, 7) for charging them and a control unit (8). The multi-component nozzle has slides (17, 19), which are associated with the melt channels (9, 10) and which are separately activated by the control unit independently of one another in such a way that the respective melt channels have an infinitely variable passage cross section. Proportional actuators (26, 27) that can be activated by the control unit are associated with the pistons (22, 23) of the cylinder accumulators. The control unit comprises a memory unit for coordinated movement or position profiles of the at least two closing slides and the at least two melt-accumulator pistons.
Just-in-time compounding in an injection molding machine
A plastication unit for an injection molding machine, combining a heated plastication barrel with an entrance port and an exit port on opposing ends of the barrel; a hopper positioned to deliver ingredients to be compounded for injection molding to the entrance port of the barrel; and a helical plastication screw rotatably carried within the barrel and running the length of the barrel between the entrance and exit ports, which is operable to rotate and transmit the ingredients along the length of the barrel; wherein the plastication screw has at least one axial fluted extensional mixing element segment and the ingredients include at least one polymer for injection molding. Methods for injection molding with the plastication unit of the present invention and articles formed by the inventive methods are also disclosed.
Mechanical Property Inspection Device And Injection Molding System
A mechanical property inspection device is a mechanical property inspection device for inspecting the mechanical property of a molded article obtained by injection molding a resin material, and includes a spectral image acquisition section that acquires spectral images for a plurality of spectral wavelengths for the molded article; a spectral calculation section that calculates the spectral spectrum at a plurality of measurement points of the molded article from the spectral images for a plurality of the spectral wavelengths; a characteristic value calculation section that calculates a spectral characteristic value at a predetermined spectral wavelength in the spectral spectrum at a plurality of the measurement points; and a mechanical property estimation section that estimates the mechanical property of the molded article based on the spectral characteristic value.
FEEDER AND INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE
A feeder according to an embodiment includes: a weight-type feeder including a hopper to which a raw material is supplied, and a discharging port from which the raw material is discharged; and a volume-type feeder including a hopper to which the raw material discharged from the discharging port is supplied, and a discharging port from which the raw material is discharged. The volume-type feeder repeats the discharging of the raw material from the discharging port and the stopping of the discharging, and the weight-type feeder continuously discharges the raw material from the discharging port to the hopper during which the discharging of the raw material from the discharging port and the stopping of the discharging are performed.
SILICONE PENCIL PREPARATION DEVICE AND METHOD
A silicone pencil preparation device includes: a conveying apparatus, a grabbing apparatus, a silicone injection molding machine and a control apparatus. The conveying apparatus includes an unprocessed pencil conveying apparatus and a processed pencil conveying apparatus. The silicone injection molding machine includes a main machine provided with a mold and a mold closing system, the mold includes a front mold and a rear mold, the mold is secured onto the mold closing system, and a middle portion of a front mold cavity is provided with a pencil carrying slot. The control apparatus is configured to perform the following steps: moving an unprocessed pencil to the pencil carrying slot; performing a mold closing operation; performing an injection molding operation on the front mold cavity and a rear mold cavity; performing a mold splitting operation; and moving a processed pencil in the pencil carrying slot to the processed pencil conveying apparatus.
INJECTION MOLDING DEVICE
An injection molding device includes a first injection section, a second injection section, a mold mounting unit and a hot runner, where a posture in which a first plasticizing device and a first plunger are in fluid communication and a posture in which the first plunger and the hot runner are in fluid communication can be selected as a posture of a first distributor, a posture in which a second plasticizing device and a second plunger are in fluid communication and a posture in which the second plunger and the hot runner are in fluid communication can be selected as a posture of a second distributor, and the hot runner includes a first sprue runner, a second sprue runner, and a nozzle, the nozzle being in fluid communication with both sprue runners and can be in fluid communication with the mold (M).
HINGED CLOSURE
A hinged closure which is molded from plastic and includes a cap which is fastenable to a neck of a container and which has a casing, a cover plate adjoining the casing, a retaining skirt protruding from the inner side of the cover plate, and a dispensing opening provided on the cover plate; and a hinged lid operatively coupled to the cap by a joint and having a sealing nipple on its inner side, which hinged lid is pivotable by means of the joint between a closure and an open position and snaps into place in both the positions. The hinged lid, the joint, the retaining skirt, and at least a first part of the cover plate are injection-molded from a first plastic. At least the casing is injection-molded from a second plastic, and the first and the second plastics are integrally bonded together at their transition.
