NASAL/ORAL CANNULA SYSTEM AND MANUFACTURING
A nasal/oral cannula for collecting a flow of exhaled gases and its method of manufacture are disclosed. The cannula comprises an elongated tubular body having a first and a second end portion, a surface and an internal volume; a wall internally disposed within said tubular body, said wall defining a first subvolume of said internal volume in the lengthwise direction of the tubular body; and an inlet through said surface, for introducing exhaled gases into said first subvolume. The first end portion defines an exit port for exhaled gases from said subvolume, and said wall is arranged directly adjacent to said inlet.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING AN INJECTION DEVICE
A method for producing an injection device are disclosed. The injection device comprises a hollow needle which is positioned in a basic body of the injection device. The injection device is produced by a two-stage injection process. At least one first slider and a second slider are provided in a tool block. Together with the tool block, the first slider and the second slider form free space, which defines a shape of a pre-injection molded part of the basic body of the injection device.
A METHOD AND AN APPARATUS FOR INJECTION MOULDING OF A URINARY CATHETER
A method of forming a urinary catheter is disclosed that includes injecting a polymer melt through a primary melt channel and into an elongated recess around an outer surface of a core; and controlling a first pressure of the polymer melt in a first secondary melt channel separately and individually from a second pressure of the polymer melt in a second secondary melt channel and reducing stress of the polymer melt along the elongated recess. Opening the mould and removing the core provides a moulded intermittent urinary catheter having an open distal end and a closed proximal tip.
Wiring incorporated resin pipe and method of manufacturing the same
A wiring incorporated resin pipe includes a tubular shaped sheet formed in an approximately tubular shape at an interval so that a slit is formed between both ends in a transverse direction, a wiring unit arranged in the tubular shaped sheet along a longitudinal direction of the slit in an inner side of the slit and a resin material filled in a gap formed by matching surfaces of the slit of the tubular shaped sheet and the wiring unit to thereby seal the matching surfaces of the slit of the tubular shape sheet, in which conductive wires for wiring are laid inside the wiring unit in the longitudinal direction.
PLASTIC PLUG-IN CONNECTOR AND METHOD FOR PRODUCTING IT
A plug-in connector produced by injection molding a plastic material and having an internal channel for a fluid and having three main sections situated axially one behind the other. The plug-in connector has a gate point on its outer circumference solely on one side and a mass distribution of the plastic material that is radially asymmetrical with respect to the circumference and which is present in at least one of the main sections of the shaped part. A method for the production of the plug-in connector is likewise disclosed.
Injection apparatus for molding combined member of constant-velocity joint boot, injection method of combined member of constant-velocity joint boot, and constant-velocity joint boot manufactured by injection method of combined member
An injection apparatus to mold a combined member with excellent performance to a constant-velocity joint boot to seal constant-velocity universal joints. The constant-velocity universal joints are used for smooth operation of a drive shaft which transfers driving power from a differential gear of a vehicle to a hub on which a tire is mounted. An injection method of the combined member of the constant-velocity joint boot. A constant-velocity joint boot manufactured by the injection method of the combined member.
METHOD OF FORMING A REUSABLE SURGICAL IMPLEMENT
A reusable surgical implement is provided that is formed of a core positioned within an enclosure. The core is formed of a suitable rigid, and optionally flexible material to enable the implant to conform to the desired use for the implement in a surgical procedure. The material forming the enclosure is also stretchable and flexible to accommodate the configuration and/or any flexing of the core, and is biologically inert to enable the implant to be sterilized after use for use in subsequent surgical procedures while protecting the material forming the core. The enclosure can be molded around the core in separate portions or components using multiple molding steps to form an enclosure with the desired attributes.
ERGONOMIC FLUID HANDLING TUBES
Provided herein are fluid handling tubes having a cap that includes a sealing member having interior grooves and panels. Also provided herein are fluid handling tubes having a cap that includes (i) a sealing member having a concave surface at a distal region, and (ii) a flat proximal surface. Provided also are fluid handling tubes having a cap that includes an engagement member at an edge of the cap, where the engagement member includes a surface having curvature and a taper. Also provided herein are fluid handling tubes that include a cap comprising a tube sealing member, an anterior engagement member, and one or more channels (e.g., one or more furrows or grooves) between the sealing member and the engagement member that function as a hinge or pivot. Also provided are fluid handling tubes that include (i) a cap having a sealing member that includes an annular protrusion, and (ii) a tube body having an interior surface that includes an annular recess, where the annular recess in the tube body is configured to receive the annular protrusion of the tubular sealing member of the cap.
Injection molding tool and method for producing a molded part
An injection molding tool for producing a molded part and a corresponding method are disclosed. The injection mold tool comprises a first tool mold half and a second tool mold half, which together with a first slider and at least one second slider define a free space for the molded part to be produced. A lever which is pretensioned with an elastic element is assigned to an end switch such that a movable and free end of the lever cooperates with the end switch due to a movement of the first slider.
Microneedle
A microneedle including a projection having a through hole formed in the projection in a direction that the projection extends, and a tubular member having an end surface configured to support the projection when the end surface is pressed against a skin and a fluid is supplied through the through hole of the projection to the skin. The projection has a length H along the direction that the projection extends and the supporting surface has an area S such that a ratio of S/H is in a range of from 2.1 to 10.5.
