Cement Spacer Mold System
A medical nail mold suited for casting fusion nails is presented. The medical nail mold contains a base with a base cavity, a tube with a cavity, a locking mechanism to hold together the base and the tube, and a core holder. The base and the tube are connected to align the base cavity with the tube cavity and are locked in place by the locking mechanism. The core holder is aligned with the cavity opposite the base to stabilize a core during use.
Method of producing a syringe barrel for medical purposes
The equipping of syringe barrels (11) with needles (25) takes place before the injection of the plastic, in which the needles (25) are introduced through the fixed part (5) of the injection mold (1) by a suitable transport device (transport rollers 33).
FIBER OPTIC FERRULE ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A fiber optic ferrule assembly is provided, which comprises a ferrule and an optical fiber received in the ferrule. The ferrule and the optical fiber are directly joined together, so as to fix the optical fiber in the ferrule. At least a part of the ferrule is directly over-molded on the optical fiber by injection molding or shrunk on the optical fiber. In the embodiments of the present invention, the ferrule is directly over-molded or shrunk on the optical fiber, so that the ferrule and the optical fiber are directly joined together. As a result, the optical fiber is stably fixed in the ferrule.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING ROLLER MEMBER, ROLLER-MEMBER MOLD, ROLLER SHAFT, AND ROLLER MEMBER
A roller shaft is inserted into a mold including molding members respectively having a first mold surface that defines an outer circumference of a roller portion and second and third mold surfaces that respectively define first and second flat portions of the roller portion, and the mold is then closed. A molding material is injected around the roller shaft to integrally mold the roller portion. The roller portion includes the outer circumference and the first and second flat portions rising from the roller shaft to the outer circumference. The roller shaft includes flange portions at portions corresponding to the first and second flat portions. The flange portions prevent the molding material from leaking outside the first and second flat portions when the roller portion is integrally molded around the roller shaft by injection molding.
INJECTION MOLD WITH CENTERING DEVICE
An injection mold with a centering device includes a die-holding plate with a cavity-forming die unit, a core-holding plate with a core unit, and a stripping plate between the core-holding and die-holding plates. The centering device has a insert and a mount with a clearance, which is rotationally symmetrical about a center axis and is for receiving the insert. The insert has an opening for receiving the core unit and the insert and the clearance of the mount are insertable in a torsion-free manner in the clearance of the mount in at least three positions rotatable about a center axis of the insert, and the center axis of the clearance and the center axis of the insert overlie one another. A center axis of the opening of the insert is arranged eccentrically in relation to the center axis of the insert by an offset. The centering unit is arranged in the stripping plate.
PLASTIC MOLDING APPARATUS AND METHOD WITH SHAPER MODULE
An injection molding apparatus comprises a support base and a mold carrier removably mounted to the support base. The mold carrier includes a mounting plate with attachment features for engaging the support base. A mold with two mold plates is slidably mounted to the mounting 5 plate. A clamp is operable to move the plates between open and closed positions. In the closed position, the plates abut one another. In the open position, the plates are spaced apart for removing molded articles.
FORMING MOLD FOR PRESSURE CONTAINER LINER AND MOLDING METHOD FOR PRESSURE CONTAINER LINER
Provided is a forming mold for a pressure container liner including a female serration on an upper face of a top portion. The forming mold includes an insert including a recessed-projecting portion by which the female serration is to be formed. The insert includes a lower layer and an upper layer divided from each other in the up-down direction. Bolt holes are formed in respective radial central parts of the upper layer and the lower layer. Gaps on contacting faces between the upper layer and the lower layer are set to a size that allows gas to pass through the gaps but does not allow nylon resin to pass through the gaps. An air-discharge passage via which a vicinal area of the recessed-projecting portion is connected to the bolt holes is formed on the contacting faces.
Bushing for a medium voltage switchgear
A bushing for a metal clad medium voltage switchgear includes a hollow body. The body is made of polyamide. A first end of the body connects to a compartment of the medium voltage switchgear. A second end of the body connects to a T-off and pin. A body portion extends from the first end of the body to the second end of the body. The body portion is circular shaped about an axis extending from the first end of the body to the second end of the body.
LENGTH-ADJUSTABLE STEERING SHAFT FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE, AND PROFILED SLEEVE FOR A STEERING SHAFT
A length-adjustable steering shaft for a motor vehicle may include a hollow outer shaft with an unround inner cross section, in which an inner shaft is received in a torque-locked and axially movable manner. A profiled sleeve may be arranged between the inner shaft and the outer shaft, and the profiled sleeve may have a fastening portion connected to the inner shaft. The inner shaft may be configured at least in part as a hollow shaft that has an interior that is open towards the end that is inserted into the outer shaft. To reduce the outlay in terms of production and assembly, the fastening portion may extend from the end into the interior of the inner shaft and is connected to an inner surface of the interior.
END TERMINATIONS AND UNIONS FOR A HOSE CONSTRUCTION WITH A COUPLING HAVING A NON-METALLIC INSERT AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
A hose construction having a coupling secured to an end of a hose, with the coupling including a tubular insert formed with a polymer mixed with chopped reinforcement fiber and including first and second ends, with the first end being inserted in the hose, and the second end including a connector interface. A tubular metallic ferrule is connected to the tubular insert adjacent to the second end in order to form an annular hose receiving space between an outer surface of the insert and an inner surface of the ferrule. The end of the hose is received in the annular hose receiving space, and the ferrule is deformed inwardly against the hose to form a secure connection. The tubular insert formed of a non-metallic material has high strength and is resistant to corrosion due to contact with the materials being transported.
