METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING OPTICAL CONNECTOR FERRULE, OPTICAL CONNECTOR FERRULE, AND OPTICAL FIBER WITH CONNECTOR
A method of manufacturing an optical connector ferrule includes a step of forming the optical connector ferrule by introducing a resin into a die. The optical connector ferrule includes one end surface and the other end surface, a pair of side surfaces, a front surface and a back surface, an introduction port that introduces a plurality of optical fibers in a bundle, a plurality of optical fiber holding holes that penetrate from the introduction port to the one end surface and hold the plurality of optical fibers, respectively, and a window hole that penetrates from the surface to the introduction port. A distance between a center of a gate and the front surface is less than a distance between the center of the gate and the back surface.
Heat stake and method of eliminating heat stake sink marks in a plastic part
A heat stake for a plastic part includes a body having a proximal end, a flared section and a distal end. The proximal end has a first cross-sectional area A.sub.1 and the flared section has a second cross-sectional area A.sub.2 where A.sub.1<A.sub.2. The distal end has a dual taper. That plastic part incorporating the heat stake is also disclosed.
MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR CONNECTER HOUSING
A manufacturing method for a connector housing to which an elongated metal terminal is connected may include injecting molten resin into a mold so as to form the connector housing. The mold may include a first projection configured to form an inlet for the metal terminal and a second projection configured to form a terminal connection space communicating with the inlet, the second projection being movable relative to the first projection. A diameter of a tip end of the second projection may be larger than a diameter of a tip end of the first projection and a recess in which the tip end of the first projection is inserted may be provided in an end face of the second projection.
GEAR BOX, REDUCTION GEAR EQUIPPED WITH GEAR BOX, MOTOR UNIT, MOLD FOR MANUFACTURING GEAR BOX, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF GEAR BOX
A gear box includes a gear box body, and a terminal which is integrated with the gear box body. The gear box body includes a storage portion which stores a gear, a motor insertion portion, recessed in an attachment surface of a motor, and a connector connection portion on the same side as the motor insertion portion with respect to a rotation center of the gear and is open in a direction different from the motor insertion portion. The terminal includes the connector terminal which is exposed to the inside of the connector connection portion, a motor feeding portion which is exposed to the inside of the motor insertion portion, a connecting portion which is in the gear box body and connects the connector terminal and the motor feeding portion, and a fixing tab extending from the connecting portion and exposed to the inside of the motor insertion portion.
OVERHEAD CONSOLE BUTTON CARRIER HAVING A UNITARY BODY
An overhead console button carrier has a unitary body. That unitary body includes a first light collimator, a second light collimator, a first intrusion sensor bracket, a second intrusion sensor bracket, a third intrusion sensor bracket and a plurality of button guides. A method and mold assembly for making the overhead console button carrier is also provided.
Luer having microbore tubing retention pocket bond with axial spline
A connector is disclosed that includes comprising a body having a tubing portion, a luer portion axially opposite the tubing portion and connected thereto, and an inner circumferential surface defining an internal bore of the connector. The inner circumferential surface extends axially between the tubing portion and the luer portion, and the internal bore being is in fluid communication with the tubing portion and the luer portion. The inner circumferential surface includes a plurality of splines extending axially along a length of the inner circumferential surface in the tubing portion of the connector. The inner circumferential surface is configured to engage an external surface of a tubing in a coupled configuration. In the coupled configuration edges of the splines grip and engage the external surface of the tubing to retain the tubing in the body.
Method of making a fluid manifold
A method of making a fluid manifold may include the use of a mold, a mandrel, and a distal support. A fluid manifold may include a primary channel, a plurality of secondary channels, and a distal channel, and the primary channel may be coterminous with the distal channel.
Plate support for a self-inking stamp
A method for manufacturing a plate support for a self-inking stamp and plate support with a print side for attaching a text plate to the plate support, with two journals defining a swiveling axis of the plate support about which swiveling axis the plate support is mounted to swivel when used in a self-inking stamp, and with a reinforcing axle at least partially penetrating the two journals, integrally forms the journals with the plate support.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF AN OPTIMIZED NECK CONTOUR ON PREFORMS
A method and device for producing an optimized neck contour on preforms below the neck which is optimal for subsequent stretch blow molding. The geometry has a significantly thinner wall thickness than the neck itself. The preform can only be produced in the injection molding tool, when axial channels are used on the point or the vanes produce the thin points on the preform during injection molding. The thin-walled geometry on the preform can be produced outside of the mold during post-cooling by embossing. The preform is then removed in a cooled receiving sleeve and is cooled in the body by intensive contact cooling while no cooling contact is made with the preform neck due to the initial position of the embossing element. Due to the reheating of the neck they can be mechanically deformed into a new geometry advantageous for blow molding and thus wall thickness can be influenced.
FLEXIBLE INTERLOCKING CLOSURE
An apparatus includes a first portion and a second portion. The first portion generally comprises a channel feature. The second portion generally comprises a rib feature. The rib feature is generally configured to fit within the channel feature.
