PLASTIC INJECTION MOLDING FOR VENTED CYLINDER DEVICES
20250144861 · 2025-05-08 ·

Disclosed herein are systems and methods for creating an encasing or shell for one or more electronic devices. An encasing for one or more electronic devices may be made from a single cavity injection mold tool. The single cavity plastic injection mold tool may be used to mold a sheet with one or more ventilation apertures. A shell may be formed by overlapping or contacting a first end of the sheet to a second end of the sheet. A cavity for the electronic device may be defined by coupling a first endcap and a second endcap to the shell. This method can reduce wasted material in the injection molding process and can provide for efficient manufacturing of encasings for one or more electronic devices.

METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SEMICONDUCTOR MODULE

A molding space includes a molding inner surface defining an outer frame and a housing region, a molding outer surface provided outside the molding inner surface and having injection ports, which communicate with the molding space, formed at positions inwardly separated from end portions, and a molding bottom surface that connects the molding inner surface and the molding outer surface and contacts a bottom surface of the outer frame. Mold pins are disposed perpendicular to the molding bottom surface at corners of the molding space in plan view. During injection, rod-shaped second mold components are positioned parallel to the mold pins between the mold pins and the injection ports in the molding space and closer to the molding inner surface than the molding outer surface in plan view.

Plastic injection tool for producing a closure cap, and method for producing a closure cap

A plastic injection tool for producing a closure cap is divided into first and second mold halves that can be moved relative to one another and an injection nozzle is formed in the first mold half, and sliding jaw tool parts are formed in the second mold half, radially outside a central tool core, which can simultaneously be moved in an ejection direction of the produced closure cap and perpendicular to the ejection direction. A respective partial ejection contour of the cap body is formed in the sliding jaw tool parts. An ejector is also provided for ejecting the produced closure cap. Partial injection contours that are different from one another are formed in sliding jaw tool parts, and a sliding jaw tool part is in contact with the tool core in two regions lying after one another in the ejection direction, before the ejection of the closure cap.

An apparatus for forming a plastic shopping basket body is provided, the basket body comprising at least three side walls. The apparatus comprises a plurality of mould sides, one per side wall of the basket body, each mould side including a form insert panel to mould the relevant side wall with customer-specific formations and/or apertures, the form insert panels being (readily) interchangeable to enable a plurality of basket bodies to be moulded with different customer-specific formations and/or apertures, for a plurality of different customers. In an embodiment, the customer-specific formations include branding and/or logos, and the customer-specific apertures include the shape, configuration and pattern of apertures defined in the walls of the basket body that is specific or specifically assigned to a particular customer. The basket bodies may be moulded in different colours, so as to further distinguish the basket bodies of and between different customers.

A system for forming a mud flap includes a first section, a second section, and an interchangeable insert. The first section is for molding a front of the mud flap and defines a first surface and a first cavity. The second section is for molding a first portion of a rear of the mud flap and defines a second surface that is to abut the first surface, a receiver portion that is recessed relative to the second surface, and a second cavity. The interchangeable insert is to fit within the receiver portion and is for molding a first type of a second portion of the rear of the mud flap and defines a third surface that is to abut the first surface, and a third cavity that is to fluidly communicate with the first cavity and the second cavity and to form first indicia.
