Optic and apparatus for making an optic
An optic can manage light emitted by a light emitting diode. The optic can comprise a backside that faces the light emitting diode and a front side opposite the backside. The front side can be convex. The backside can have a central region that is adjacent the light emitting diode and that is either concave or convex. One or more grooves can extend peripherally about the central region. An injection molding system can produce optics in which the backside comprises the concave central region as well as optics in which the backside comprises the convex central region. The molding system can utilize one molding member shaped according to the front side of the optic. That molding member can be compatible with two other molding members that are shaped according to the different backsides of the optic. Thus, two different optic forms can be produced with three molding members.
MOLD APPARATUS
A mold apparatus includes first and second mold plates that constitute a cassette mold, a first base mold, a base intermediate mold for loading the first mold plate, a second base mold for loading the second mold plate, a base intermediate mold driving device for positioning and fixing the base intermediate mold at any position between the first and second base molds, and a controller for performing control to position and fix the base intermediate mold so that the first mold plate and the first base mold are in contact with each other when a molded product is taken out.
MOLD APPARATUS
A mold apparatus includes a first mold plate formed with a runner flow path, a second mold plate, a runner stripper plate having a through hole that communicates with the runner flow path, a runner locking part formed with an inverse tapered space which communicates with the through hole and has an inverse tapered shape and in which a locking portion made of a molding material is formed, and a runner unlocking means for moving the runner stripper plate away from the runner locking part to unlock the locking portion.
Injection mold, molding tool comprising the mold and methods of use thereof
An injection mold that has an injector mold plate with a first injector mold plate face and an opposite second injector mold plate face, an ejector mold plate having a first ejector mold plate face and an opposite second ejector mold plate face, with the first injector mold plate face faces the first ejector mold plate face, at least one tempering medium channel connecting a tempering medium inlet of the injection mold to a tempering medium outlet of the injection mold, wherein the at least one tempering medium channel traverses an area of at least one of the second injector mold plate face and/or the second ejector mold plate face and defines a free opening in the respective mold plate face along at least a length of the at least one tempering medium channel.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MAKING OF ASEPTIC BLOOD BAGS AND THE LIKE
An injection molding device comprising an injection mold with a middle mold part arranged in a first direction between a first outer mold part and a second outer mold part. The first outer mold part and the second outer mold part are linearly movable with respect to the middle mold part in the first direction between an open position and a closed position of the injection mold. The middle mold part is turnable about a rotation axis and comprises a side face which comprises a first cavity suitable to temporarily receive a first component. The first cavity communicates with a first half of a second cavity. At least one of the outer mold parts comprises a second half of the second cavity which interacts with the first half to form the second cavity to receive a liquefied first plastic material to form a second component interconnected to the first component.
REUSABLE MOLD FOR INJECTION MOLDING AND MOLDING METHOD
A reusable mold for injection molding and molding method includes a reusable mold member, a mold cavity defined in the mold member, and at least one heat sink recess defined in the mold member for accommodating a heat sink material therein for rapidly removing heat from the mold cavity when the mold member is used to injection mold a molded part. The reusable mold injection molds a molded part and rapidly removes heat from the mold cavity via a heat sink material accommodated in the at least one heat sink recess.
Stack mold
There is provided a mold stack (100). The mold stack (100) comprises a core insert assembly (102), the core insert assembly (102) for defining an inner portion of a molded article to be molded. The core insert assembly (102) includes a sensor assembly (120) configured to measure the in-mold pressure using entire active surface of the core insert assembly (102).
Method for producing an electrical line, tool mould for such a method, and line
A process produces an electrical line which extends in the longitudinal direction and the line has a line core and an outer shell. In a continuous shaping process, individual shell portions of the outer shell are formed successively by surrounding the line core with a curable plastic substance. In at least one portion, the outer shell is produced having a cross-sectional geometry which can be varied in the longitudinal direction of the line.
A MOLD TOOL FOR INJECTION MOLDING
An injection-molding tool comprising at least two separate mold plates each having a mold insert socket with a mold insert attached in the mold insert socket. Each mold plate have mutually opposite and parallel abutting side faces defining the thickness of the mold plate and a number of mutually aligned guide bushings forming through holes adapted for axially sliding one of the mold plates with respect to the other on a common guide pin in a direction perpendicular to the abutting side faces of the mold plates. The guide bushings and the mold insert socket of at least one mold plate am interconnected via one or more connection plates each extending parallel to the abutting side faces and having a thickness of less than half the thickness of the mold plate.
INJECTION MOLD AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING INJECTION-MOLDED PARTS
An injection mold for manufacturing injection-molded parts by injecting injection molding material into a cavity having a contour corresponding to the injection-molded part to be manufactured. The injection mold includes a distribution channel for injection molding material which is connectable to an injection nozzle and is in communicative connection with the cavity. The distribution channel includes a compensating volume region having a volume, determined by the type and number of cavities connected to the distribution channel, for accommodating injection molding material during the injection molding process.
