INJECTION MOLD MASTER UNIT DIE BACK PLATE COOLING WITH METAL BACKFILLED PLASTIC MOLD
A reusable mold for injection molding and molding method includes a reusable mold member, a mold cavity defined in the mold member, and at least one heat sink recess defined in the mold member for accommodating a heat sink material. The mold member is mounted on a liquid cooled mold platen. Heat is rapidly removed from the mold cavity when the mold member is used to injection mold a molded part through the heat sink material and through an interface between the heat sink material and the liquid-cooled mold platen. The reusable mold injection molds a molded part and rapidly removes heat from the mold cavity via the heat sink material accommodated in the at least one heat sink recess and through the liquid-cooled platen.
HUBS FOR MEDICAL DEVICES
A mold system for making a medical device includes a mold having a mold cavity for receiving a material; first and second core pins, each having a first lumen-defining section located, or otherwise configured for placement, in the mold cavity; and a spacer tool having a lumen sized for accommodating a first tube that is in a fixed position with respect to the mold, wherein a first end of the first tube is engaged with the first lumen-defining section of the first core pin, and wherein the spacer tool comprises a first section configured for placement in the mold cavity of the mold, the first section of the spacer tool having a first outer cross-sectional dimension that is larger than an outer cross-sectional dimension of the first tube.
METHOD OF MAKING A UNITARY BRUSH HEAD AND UNITARY TOOTHBRUSH HEAD
A toothbrush comprised at least one unitary brush head having a base and at least one filament and extending therefrom and having a free end terminating with a tip, wherein the filament has a length of from 6.0 mm to 20.0 mm between the base and the free end, and wherein the unitary brush head is made from a plastic material that has a melt flow rate of not greater than about 30 g/10 min measured in accordance with ISO 1133.
MOLDS HAVING COOLING BEHIND INSERT TECHNOLOGY AND RELATED METHODS
This disclosure includes injection molds for reducing cycle times and related methods. Some molds include first and second mold portions movable relative to one another from an open position to a closed position in which each of one or more recesses of the first mold portion cooperates with a respective one of one or more recesses of the second mold portion to define a chamber. Each of the chamber(s) includes a first cooling body coupled to the first mold portion, a second cooling body coupled to the second mold portion, and first and second inserts removably coupled, respectively, to the first and second cooling bodies such that the inserts cooperate to define a mold cavity within the chamber that is configured to receive a thermoplastic material. Each of the cooling bodies has an inlet, an outlet, and a fluid cavity in fluid communication with the inlet and the outlet.
FLOW RATE ADJUSTING DEVICE, THREE-DIMENSIONAL SHAPING DEVICE, AND INJECTION MOLDING DEVICE
A flow rate adjusting device includes a main body portion having a first opening portion to which a molten material is supplied, a second opening portion from which the molten material is discharged, a supply flow path communicating with the first opening portion and the second opening portion, and a cross hole intersecting the supply flow path; and a shaft-shaped valve portion disposed inside the cross hole. The valve portion has a tip end portion, a rear end portion, and a recessed portion provided between the tip end portion and the rear end portion and communicating with the first opening portion and the second opening portion, and the valve portion is rotated in the cross hole to change a position of the recessed portion, such that a flow path cross-sectional area of the supply flow path is changed to adjust a flow rate of the molten material discharged from the second opening portion; a storage chamber storing a part of the molten material flowing through the supply flow path between the first opening portion and the valve portion is defined by the tip end portion and an inner wall surface of the cross hole; the valve portion has a first contact surface provided between the recessed portion and the rear end portion and facing the rear end portion side; and the main body portion has a second contact surface to come into contact with the first contact surface from the tip end portion side.
MESH INJECTION MOLD
An injection mold includes two mold halves, each of the mold halves including a mold cavity coupled with a plastic material inlet to make a plastic part within the mold cavity, a solid metal material housing the mold cavity, a conformal cooling channel positioned around the solid metal material, a plurality of mesh-containing cavities containing metallic mesh material and positioned around the solid metal material, wherein the metallic mesh material of any of the plurality of mesh-containing cavities is of a constant size.
INJECTION MOLD
An injection mold comprising a first mold half and a second mold half which during operation are displaceable with respect to each other in a first direction between an open position and a closed position in which the first mold half and the second mold half interact with each other. The first mold half comprises a cavity plate with a front face with a recess in which at least one cavity block comprising at least one first cavity half is arranged forming in a closed position of the injection mold with a corresponding second cavity half arranged at the second mold half a cavity suitable to receive plasticized plastic material to form a part therefrom. At least one cable interconnects the at least one cavity block in a mounted position with a connection box.
Tunable injection molded resonator
A method including providing a mold cavity to produce an outer contour of an acoustic resonator and providing a mold core to produce an inner contour of the resonator. The inner contour corresponds to a plenum, and a connecting channel in fluid communication with the plenum. An insert fitting adjacent to the mold core defines a length of the connecting channel during injection molding of the resonator.
Injection Mold
An injection mold, in particular for encapsulating rotors of electric machines, has a mold, wherein the mold has an arrangement of mold segments. The arrangement forms, along a longitudinal axis, a cavity for a component to be arranged. An exchange unit is provided, which is designed to remove at least one mold segment from and/or insert at least one mold segment into the arrangement, with the result that a size of the cavity can be changed.
TOOL FOR PLASTIC INJECTION MOLDING AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE TOOL
