This mold device has a rotary core that rotates about a shaft member as a rotation center by being provided with a rotational driving force directly from a rotation driving means. A restriction core is interposed between the rotary core and a mold body to restrict the rotation of the rotary core. That is, the rotary core becomes rotatable when the restriction core is withdrawn from between the rotary core and the mold body.

20200254665 · 2020-08-13 ·

An injection mold for producing a double walled drinking vessel includes first and second mold portions. The first mold portion forms a first and second cavities corresponding to the outer shape of the outer container and the outer shape of the inner container, respectively. The first and second cavities are located concentrically with respect to a central axis. An index plate is rotatable and axially movable along the central axis relative to the first mold portion. The index plate includes a first core and a second core. The first cavity has a first cavity injection gate for injecting mold material into the first cavity for forming the outer container. The second cavity has a second cavity injection gate for injecting mold material into the second cavity for forming the inner container. The first cavity has a further injection gate for injecting joint material for joining the outer and inner containers.

ELASTOMERIC STATOR WITH MODIFIED FIBER ORIENTATION
20200238580 · 2020-07-30 ·

A stator for use in a positive displacement motor or a progressing cavity pump. The stator comprises an elastomer mix preferably including rubber and a fiber reinforcement. The fiber reinforcement includes a plurality of fibers. The elastomer mix is formed into a stator via an injection molding process. The injection molding process includes a shear flow step in which shear flow is induced in the elastomer mix while the elastomer mix is in an uncured state. The shear flow modifies the orientation of the fibers into an advantageous modified fiber orientation. Shear flow is induced preferably via differential rotation of injection mold assembly elements during the injection molding process. Methods of manufacturing the stator are also disclosed.

Apparatus for molding hollow workpieces

An apparatus and process for molding workpieces usable for consumer products. The workpieces may be injection molded with a cavity formed by a core pin and have an undercut, such as internal threads, in the cavity. The apparatus has a drive system with a stripper plate mounted for alternatingly forward and retracting axial movement. The stripper plate is axially driven and drives a stripper sleeve barrel cam and a core pin base barrel cam, each having respective cam followers. The respective motions of the cam followers are superimposed on a stripper sleeve insert, which drives a core pin sleeve. The core pin sleeve is subjected to responsive three dimensional motion, allowing an internally threaded workpiece to be unscrewed from the core pin sleeve. The system does not require separate drives for the core pin sleeve, a single stripper plate drive being sufficient.

Injection moulding device having a rotatable centre part
10675800 · 2020-06-09 · ·

The invention relates to a retaining device for a rotatable center block in an injection molding device, comprising a lower rotary plate rotatable about an axis of rotation and driven by a motor, the lower rotary plate being used for retaining the rotatable center block. The retaining device comprises a lower cross member, which is mounted movably in the longitudinal direction (x) on guide rails while supported on a machine bed of the injection molding device by means of first bearing blocks. The retaining device can have two bearing blocks, by means of which the lower cross member is supported in the circumferential direction relative to lower beams of the injection molding device. For a further increase in efficiency, the center block has a main body made of a material of lower density than a coupling plate operatively connected thereto.
