Method and device for the production of an injection-moulded part
A method for the production of an injection-molded part including casting an injection-molding material at least two injection-molding stations by at least two injection-molding processes. A pre-molded part, produced in one of the at least two injection-molding processes, is cooled in a cooling station between the at least two injection-molding processes.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR FORMING AN ORTHODONTIC ALIGNER
A method of forming an orthodontic aligner from an aligner digital model, the method comprising the steps of: (a) three-dimensionally printing an intermediate structure comprising fused filaments from a biocompatible thermoplastic according to the aligner digital model via fused deposition modelling; (b) coating the intermediate structure with a biocompatible translucent photopolymer; and (c) irradiating the coating with ultraviolet light to cure the coating on the intermediate structure, thereby forming the orthodontic aligner.
Method, Apparatus and Press for Injection Moulding of Plastic Material
A method, apparatus and press for the injection moulding of plastic material by a plurality of injectors connected to a distributor and provided with respective obturators movable between a closing condition and an opening condition in a controlled fashion. The injection pressure in the distributor is maintained substantially constant by an actuator which actuates a screw of the injection press, from a start of a filling step up to an end of a packing step of the plastic material into a cavity of a mould. A moulding cycle is entirely controlled by each injector, by managing the position/velocity/acceleration of the respective obturator, without affecting the other injectors.
Apparatus for fabricating lens, method of fabricating lens and lens
An apparatus for fabricating a lens includes an injection port to inject a source material, a molding frame filled with the source material and including a plurality of forming molds adjacent to each other, and a light source or a heat source to cure the source material filled in the forming molds. The forming molds include at least four connection passages connected to the forming molds. A method for fabricating a lens includes injecting a source material through an injection port of a molding frame which includes a plurality of forming molds adjacent to each other and at least four connection passages connected to the forming molds, filling the source material in the forming molds and discharging the source material out of the forming molds through the connection passages, applying a pressure to the source material, and curing the source material.
Molding machine management system and computer program
A molding machine management system includes a molding machine molding a plurality of molded products using a molding mold having a plurality of cavities, a camera capturing a plurality of first images of the plurality of molded products, respectively, and an inspection device inspecting the plurality of molded products. The plurality of first images, a second image of a parting surface of the molding mold, a plurality of inspection results corresponding to the plurality of molded products, and information on the plurality of cavities are displayed on the same screen of a display. The plurality of molded products in the plurality of first images are respectively displayed to overlap positions of corresponding cavities of the plurality of cavities of the parting surface in the second image.
INJECTION MOLDED CUTLERY AND METHOD AND SYSTEM THEREFOR
Aspects of the present disclosure relate to injection molded cutlery having a body defining a handle portion and a utensil portion, with an injection gate mark located at a center section of the body. The body can be made from a bio-material injected at a pressure that is less than 60% of an injection pressure required for injection at an end of the body.
Method of injection molding with down cavity detection
A method of detecting and compensating for a non-operational mold cavity in an injection molding apparatus having a plurality of mold cavities and an injection molding screw or ram includes injecting, via the injection molding screw or ram, a molten thermoplastic material into the plurality of mold cavities. The method includes measuring a first process parameter of the injection molding apparatus at a pre-determined time during or after the injecting. The method also includes determining, based on the first process parameter, whether one or more mold cavities of the plurality of mold cavities are non-operational. Then, when it is determined that one or more mold cavities are non-operational, the method includes automatically adjusting the first process parameter or a second process parameter of the injection molding apparatus.
METHOD FOR MOLDING A PART, FOR EXAMPLE FOR VEHICLE INTERIORS, TYPICALLY A DASHBOARD AND/OR INTERNAL PANELS, AND CORRESPONDING PART
An injection molding method of a part for vehicle interiors includes arranging a mold having a first injection chamber defining in negative a base of the part. Thermoplastic material is injected into the first chamber and the base is extracted from the first chamber and placed in a second injection chamber. A lining film is inserted in the second chamber and deforming it to arrange the film on an outer surface thereof, adhering to an esthetic wall of the second chamber opposite a functional wall. An intermediate plastic layer is injected in a gap between an inner wall of the base facing the lining film, and an inner surface of the lining film opposite the outer surface to create a single sandwich structure. The intermediate layer is between the lining film and the base, has lower hardness than the base and forms a yielding padding for the lining film.
MANUFACTURING METHOD OF PATTERN SHEET
Provided is a manufacturing method of a pattern sheet having excellent productivity at low costs. The manufacturing method of a pattern sheet includes: a process of producing, using a plate precursor having a protruding pattern formed thereon, a plurality of first molds having a recessed shape, which is an inverted shape of the protruding pattern, from a resin; a process of producing a plurality of metallic electroforms having the protruding pattern formed thereon by electroforming using the first mold; a process of producing a plurality of second molds having a recessed shape, which is an inverted shape of the protruding pattern, from a resin using the electroform; and a process of producing pattern sheets and having a protruding pattern formed thereon using the second mold.
Shaped part, trim part for vehicle interiors, and device and process for producing the shaped part
A shaped part for a trim part for vehicle interiors with a support made of a mat that contains fibers. The support includes a recess on a visible side that extends in longitudinal direction, and a protrusion on a back side that extends in longitudinal direction and corresponds with the recess on the visible side. The shaped part includes a plastic layer positioned in the area of the recess that is formed from a material other than the mat and that is firmly bonded to the recess. A device for the production of the shaped part as well as a procedure for the production of the shaped part are provided.
