HYDROSEEDERS HAVING INTEGRATED BALE GRINDERS AND METHODS
In one embodiment, a hydroseeder has an integrated bale grinder. The hydroseeder includes a tank, an agitator, a plurality of grinding flights, and a basket. The tank includes an opening and is configured to hold a material slurry. The agitator is positioned below the opening and is configured to agitate the material slurry. The plurality of grinding flights extends from the agitator and is configured to grind a material bale as it is introduced into the tank. The basket extends from the opening of the tank and is configured to direct the material bale toward the plurality of grinding flights.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR APPLYING LIQUID NUTRIENTS BETWEEN PARALLEL ROWS OF STANDING CROPS
Liquid nutrients are applied to a first group of rows of standing crops by pulling a drag hose from a reel located at one end of a field and between two crop rows with the drag hose connected to an applicator pulled by a tractor or track units. The hose provides a liquid supply to the applicator. At the opposite end of the field, the applicator is turned 180, and in one embodiment, a boom pivots to project from one end of the applicator to the drag hose. The applicator returns down adjacent crop rows back to the first end of the field with the applicator connected to the drag hose while the reel simultaneously retracts the drag hose between the two crop rows. The reel is moved axially to a third group of crop rows along with the applicator, and the steps are repeated.
DISTRIBUTOR DEVICE FOR SOLIDS CONTAINING LIQUIDS
A distributor device for solids-laden fluids comprises a distributor housing having a housing underside and a housing topside opposite the housing underside which define an interior space that is subdivided into a fluid space into which the inlet port opens and a ventilation space separate therefrom into which the ventilation port opens. A plurality of outlet ports, an inlet port in the distributor housing, a ventilation port disposed in the housing topside of the distributor housing, and a distributor unit are also included. The disributor unit is movable relative the distributor housing and disposed inside the distributor housing, and connects each of the outlet ports in fluid communication with the fluid space and with the ventilation space in alternating succession. Relative movement of the distributor unit connects an outlet port of the plurality of outlet ports alternately with the fluid space and the ventilation space.
Multi-Line Manure Applicator
A manure applicator may include a tool bar, a plurality of spaced apart application points along the tool bar, a distribution manifold operatively connected to the tool bar and configured to receive a supply of manure under pressure pumped from a manure reservoir, a plurality of discharge lines, each of the plurality of discharge lines between the distribution manifold and one of the plurality of spaced apart application points, a plurality of independent and separate flow meters, with each of the flow meters along one of the plurality of discharge lines, and a plurality of independent and separate flow valves, with each of the flow valves along one of the plurality of discharge lines.
Liquid Manure Spreader
The invention relates to a liquid manure spreader with a liquid manure spreader system, which comprises a central spreader arm and two lateral spreader arms pivotably disposed thereon, which are pivotable between a position aligned with the central spreader arm and a position oriented transversely to the central spreader arm, wherein the central spreader arm is pivotable around at least one transverse axis between a downwards folded working position and an upwards folded transport position, wherein the at least one transverse axis is translationally movably guided between a lower position and an upper position in at least one elongated hole extending in a vertical direction of the liquid manure spreader.
PUMP FOR IMMERSION WITHIN A FLUID RESERVOIR
A pump is provided for immersion in a fluid reservoir, such as a pit or lagoon containing liquid manure, from a position at an edge of the reservoir. The pump may be adapted for connection to a farm vehicle, such as a tractor, positioned at the edge of the reservoir. The pump comprises an extensible body, fluid conduit and drive means in order that a length of the pump may be varied in order to accommodate a variety of reservoir fluid heights. In addition, the pump may be pivotable relative to at least a portion of a frame in order that the entrance angle may be adjusted. The pump may comprise a housing with an inlet and an outlet, the outlet in fluid communication with the fluid conduit. An impeller within the housing may direct fluid from the inlet to the outlet in the housing.
Distributor for Manure Injection System
A distributor for a manure injection system is disclosed. The main distributor includes a distributor housing with an inlet and a plurality of outlets for distributing a main flow of manure into a plurality of separate streams of manure. A screed barrel is disposed within the distributor housing and has a central opening in communication with the inlet of the distributor housing. The screed barrel includes a plurality of screed holes. A screed paddle is disposed within the screed barrel for screeding the main flow of manure through the plurality of screed holes. A manure distributor associated with the main distributor has a gate shaft with a gate valve disposed in each of the plurality of outlets. A biasing member is operably attached to the gate shaft to bias each gate valve toward the closed position for distributing even amounts of the separate streams of manure to each manure injector.
Compost insertion apparatus
A compost insertion apparatus coupled to a tractor for inserting solid material into the ground includes a frame configured to be pulled behind a tractor. A bin atop the frame defines an interior area capable of holding solid material, the bottom having an outlet through which the solid material is expelled from the bin. An auger assembly includes a shaft a continuous spiral blade operative for expelling the solid material. A ripper shank is movable from a use configuration forming a furrow, the solid material being expelled into the furrow. A furrow closer assembly includes two circular angled plates forming a V-shape for covering the solid material. A track assembly is operatively coupled to the frame for supporting the bin above the ground, the track assembly having a wide profile in contact with the ground.

Distributor device for solids-containing liquids
A distributor device for solids-containing liquids includes a distribution chamber with an inlet opening which leads to a chamber interior space of the distribution chamber, wherein the distribution chamber has a first end wall with several connection ports and a first side wall arranged laterally to the end wall. The distributor device also includes a connecting part connecting the rotor and the blade drive shaft, which connecting part is detachably connected to the rotor and/or to the blade drive shaft, wherein a movement of the rotor is guided by the connecting part relative to the first perforated blade disk. The distribution chamber has at least one closable opening which is located in the first side wall, wherein the opening is designed at least so large that the rotor is removable from the distribution chamber through the opening.
