The driving assembly is configured to actuate the at least one unscrewing assembly to rotate a molded article about a longitudinal axis of the threaded core and actuate the first elevator element relative to the second elevator element to linearly translate the mounting plate relative to the fixed plate and to translate the molded article along the longitudinal axis of the threaded core.

Molded pocket in transaction card construction

Methods and apparatuses are provided for manufacturing a transaction card. The disclosed methods and apparatuses may be used to form a transaction card frame within a mold. The transaction card frame may include one or more recessed portions formed within a first surface of the transaction card frame. The one or more recessed portions may be configured for affixing one or more electronic components.

Plastic part with reduced read-through

A mold assembly includes a first mold portion defining a cavity having a first wall with an edge and a second mold portion defining a surface positionable at a predetermined distance from the edge. A lifter is positionable within the cavity and is spaced apart from the first wall and the surface, the lifter including a plurality of pins extending toward the first wall and aligned in a first direction generally parallel with the edge.

Method for demoulding a composite material with an organic matrix

An injection tooling is configured to inject a polymer resin into a fiber preform for fabricating a part in the form of a body of revolution out of composite material, the part having an internal cavity with back-draft. In order to enable the part to be unmolded after the polymer resin has been injected and polymerized, the tooling includes, arranged at least in the internal cavity, firstly a sectorized ring made up of at least three mutually touching inserts including one forming a keystone, the ring having an outside surface that matches the internal cavity with back-draft and an inside surface that presents natural draft, and secondly a conical drum secured to the inside surface of the sectorized ring to support it and that is withdrawn, once separated from the sectorized ring, relying on the natural draft created by the inside surface of the sectorized ring.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING DECORATIVE MOLDING AND MOLD FOR THE METHOD

A method for manufacturing a decorative molding in which a transfer layer is transferred onto an injection molded product from a transfer sheet simultaneously with performing of injection molding in which at least one knockout pin in a second half-mold is caused to retreat to clamp a first half-mold and the second half-mold together; and the at least one knockout pin is made to advance so that the first half-mold and the second half-mold are released from each other until the second half-mold and the first half-mold open to a predetermined interval, while the transfer layer in a non-transfer area that is to remain on the transfer sheet is pushed against the first half-mold.

MOLD OF A FORMING TOOL, FORMING TOOL, AND METHOD FOR DEMOLDING
20240278467 · 2024-08-22 ·

A mold of a forming tool capable to be used for resin transfer molding processes or injecting molding processes, wherein an inner surface of the mold, which is adapted to limit on one side a forming tool cavity for a product to be fabricated, has an integral surface section which is adapted be moved relatively to adjacent surface areas in a demolding direction. Also a forming tool having such a mold and a method for demolding in which an integral inner surface section acts as membrane and is moved inside the cavity to push the product out of the mold.
