A plasticizing device includes a driving motor, a rotor rotated around a rotation axis by the driving motor and having a groove forming surface on which a groove is formed, a barrel having an opposed surface opposed to the groove forming surface, a communication hole into which a plasticized material flows being provided in the barrel, a housing section housing the rotor, a first restricting section fixed to the rotor and having a first contact surface facing the barrel side, and a second restricting section fixed to the housing section, opposed to the first contact surface, and having a second contact surface contactable with the first contact surface. Movement of the rotor along the rotation axis is restricted by the first restricting section and the second restricting section. The groove forming surface is separated from the opposed surface at a predetermined interval in a state in which the first contact surface and the second contact surface are in contact.

A plasticizing device includes a plasticizing mechanism including a feeding port for receiving a material and configured to plasticize the material to generate a melted material and a material feeding mechanism configured to feed the material to the plasticizing mechanism. The material feeding mechanism includes a housing including a depositing port communicating with the feeding port, the housing storing the material, and a rotating member housed in the housing and capable of rotating along an inner edge of the housing. A plurality of through-holes are provided in the rotating member at intervals along an outer circumference of the rotating member. When the rotating member rotates and any one of the plurality of through-holes and the depositing port communicate, the material stored in the housing is fed from the feeding port to the plasticizing mechanism through the depositing port.

An injection molding system includes a first unit in which an injection molding machine is disposed and an option unit. The injection molding machine is configured to be attachable with a stationary die and a movable die that moves with respect to the stationary die. The option unit includes at least one of a second unit in which a robot that moves a molded article molded by the injection molding machine is disposed and a third unit in which at least one of a material drier that dries a material supplied to the injection molding machine and a material supply section that supplies the material to the injection molding machine is disposed. The first unit is configured to be detachably attachable with the option unit.

A plasticizing apparatus, includes: a drive motor; a rotor that is rotated around a rotation axis by the drive motor and that has a groove forming surface on which a groove is formed; a barrel that has a facing surface facing the groove forming surface and that includes a communication hole in the facing surface; a heating portion that heats a material supplied to between the groove and the barrel; and a controller that controls the drive motor and the heating portion to plasticize the material supplied to between the groove and the barrel and discharge the material from the communication hole, the facing surface includes a first region and a second region that is closer to the communication hole than is the first region, the controller controls the heating portion to set a temperature of the second region to be higher than a temperature of the first region, and the controller controls the heating portion to reduce a temperature difference between the first region and the second region when the material includes a crystalline resin as compared with a case where the material includes an amorphous resin.

In the plasticizing device, the first heating section includes a first portion configured to house a first heat source, includes a second portion which is disposed closer to the groove forming surface than the first portion in an axial direction of the rotational axis, and which has a shape surrounding the communication hole when viewed along the axial direction, and is configured so that heat by the first heat source is transferred to the material between the rotor and the barrel via the second portion.

When the wear suppressor is provided between the rotor and the barrel, the wear suppressor is fixed to the rotor or the barrel and has Vickers hardness higher than the Vickers hardness of one of the rotor and the barrel, the one to which the wear suppressor is fixed, whereas when the wear suppressor is provided between the rotor and the enclosure, the wear suppressor is fixed to the rotor or the enclosure and has Vickers hardness higher than the Vickers hardness of one of the rotor and the enclosure, the one to which the wear suppressor is fixed.

The first injection unit includes a plasticizing mechanism that plasticizes at least a part of a thermoplastic material containing a thermoplastic resin to generate the first molding material. The second injection unit includes a mechanism that mixes a resin and a curing agent to generate the second molding material that is a thermosetting mixture.

A plasticizing device that plasticizes at least a part of a material to generate a plasticized material, the plasticizing device includes: a drive motor; a screw configured to rotate around a rotation axis by a drive force of the drive motor and having a groove forming surface in which a groove is formed; a speed reducer disposed between the drive motor and the screw and configured to transmit the drive force of the drive motor to the screw; a barrel having a facing surface facing the groove forming surface and having a through hole into which the plasticized material flows; a first heater configured to heat the material supplied between the screw and the barrel; a first cooling unit configured to cool the drive motor; and a heat insulating unit disposed between the first cooling unit and the speed reducer. At least a part of the heat insulating unit overlaps the first cooling unit when viewed along the rotation axis of the screw.
