RESIN PART AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD
A resin part includes a molded main body that has a plate shape with a longitudinal direction and is constituted of an injection-molded product. The resin part has a gate portion that is a vestige of a resin injection gate. The gate portion is located in an end face part of the molded main body to cross a position corresponding to a center of gravity of the molded main body; the end face part extends in the longitudinal direction of the molded main body.
RESIN PART AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD
A resin part includes a plate-shaped molded main body that is constituted of an injection-molded product. Of plate surfaces of the molded main body, a surface on an opposite side to a surface requiring surface accuracy constitutes a pressure-application surface to which pressure is applied by a movable insert. A parting line is formed on the pressure-application surface by the movable insert to satisfy the following relationship: (t/4)≤x≤(3t/2), where x is a distance from an end edge part of the molded main body to the parting line and t is a thickness of the molded main body.
Shaping machine and method of operating a shaping machine
A shaping machine includes a stationary first mold mounting plate, a second mold mounting plate movable with respect to the first mold mounting plate, a tubular snorkel fixedly secured to the second mold mounting plate, and an injection unit for plasticizing and injecting a molding material. An abutment is designed so that, in the opened condition of the closing unit, the injection unit can be braced against the abutment, and so that, in a closed condition of the closing unit, the injection unit is freed from the abutment by the force action of the snorkel on the injection unit.
OVERMOLDED SEPTUM
Disclosed is a pierceable septum for use in drug reservoirs and infusion sets. The pierceable septum has an elastic core made from a core material and a surround made from a surrounding material. The surrounding material is more rigid than the core material. The elastic core is fully embedded in the surround.
Ultrasonic Device For A Polymer Injector Apparatus
An ultrasonic device comprising a fusion chamber (10) with an inlet bore (11) for a polymer in pellet, powder or tablet form, a plunger that modifies the volume of the fusion chamber, an outlet bore (12) that communicates with a mould (60), a sonotrode bore (13) through which a distal portion (21) of an ultrasonic head (20) is inserted into the fusion chamber, wherein the distal portion is separated from the rest of the ultrasonic head by a first nodal plane (PN1) in correspondence of a first surface (S1) in contact with a complementary surface of a ring seal (30) that closes the fusion chamber, the ultrasonic to head including a second nodal plane (PN2) away from and parallel to the first nodal plane in correspondence of or adjacent to a second surface (S2) wherein an anchoring device (40) presses the ultrasonic head against the ring seal ensuring a tight closure.
Method of molding using mold inserts and apparatus therefor
A method for forming a part in an injection mold, includes: heating a molding material to a molding temperature; injecting the molding material through a gate and into a molding cavity of the injection molding apparatus of any of the preceding claims; pressing the stationary half and the moving half together to form the molding cavity between the resin mold surface and the insert molding surface; moving the movable mold insert, and thereby moving the insert molding surface and adjusting the molding cavity shape, the molding cavity depth, the molding cavity volume, or a combination comprising at least one of the foregoing along at least a portion of the molding cavity; cooling a surface of the molding cavity with the cooling system; separating the resin mold surface and the moving half mold surface; and ejecting the part from the injection molding apparatus.
Mold for plastic lens, method for manufacturing plastic lens, and plastic lens for eyeglasses
A mold for a plastic lens that arranges an insert member inside a cavity formed between a pair of halved molds, injects and fills molten raw material resin to mold a plastic lens having a predetermined shape, integrally with the insert member. The insert member is arranged on a molding surface on one of the halved molds, a notch to be engaged with a positioning tab formed at a periphery of the insert member is engraved on one parting surface of the halved mold, overlapping with a gate position. Positioning of the insert member is performed by engaging the positioning tab with the notch. With this configuration, in molding a plastic lens having an insert member by injection molding including insert molding, positioning of the insert member is performed at the gate position without deteriorating the quality of a molded product and without increasing the load of post-processing after molding.
Injection moulding apparatus and method for injection moulding and IR-compatible display frame
An injection moulding apparatus and method for producing a moulded article is disclosed herein. In a described embodiment, the method comprises: (i) securing a layer of film to a part of a first mould half at step 504; (ii) adjusting relative position of the first mould component and a second mould component to an initial moulding position at step 506 to define a mould cavity; (iii) injecting molten moulding material into the mould cavity at step 508 to enable the molten moulding material to contact the layer of protective film; (iv) moving a movable core at step 510 to compress the molten moulding material in the mould cavity; and (v) cooling the compressed molten moulding material at step 514 to bond the layer of film to the cooled moulding material to form the moulded article.
INJECTION-COMPRESSION MOLDING DEVICE
An injection-compression molding device (1), wherein the rod (3) and the core (5) are connected to each other by means of a joint (20) which allows to have a rigid connection in some steps of an injection-compression molding process, and an articulated connection during the compression step of the injection-compression molding process.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING MOLDED PRODUCT
A method of the invention which manufactures a molded product by injection molding using injection molding die including a pair of dies includes: injecting and filling the resin in a molten state in a state where a temperature of the injection molding die is higher than a deformation temperature of resin to be injected and filled; reducing a volume of a cavity due to volume contraction of the resin when cooling thereof; and carrying out molding while maintaining a state where the resin is brought into close contact with both cavity surfaces of the pair of the dies.
