Magnetic clamp device
Provided is a magnetic clamp device that can be easily made into a state where a fall prevention function can be exerted when attaching adsorption objects. A support member (20) is protruded horizontally from an upper part of a magnetic plate (7) of the magnetic clamp device. A protruding member (28) is protruded upward from a mold as an adsorption object that is adsorbed and fixed to an adsorption surface (8) of the magnetic plate (7). The mold (9) is arranged so that the engagement portion (32) faces the locking portion (27) with a predetermined gap above the locking portion (27) in a state where the mold (9) is adsorbed and fixed at a predetermined position on the adsorption surface (8).

Mold-clamping machine
A mold clamping machine includes a stationary mount, a movable mount, a mold-clamping mechanism and a mold opening and-closing mechanism. The mold-clamping mechanism includes a cylindrical constraining mechanism and has a magnet mechanism built therein. By causing a current to flow or not flow, the constraining mechanism changes to an unconstrained state or to a constraining state. In the unconstrained state, the mold clamping mechanism is movable relative to and along a tie bar. In the constrained state, the mold clamping mechanism becomes unmovable relative to the tie bar. The magnet mechanism positions the mold-clamping mechanism at any desired arbitrary position along the tie bar.

A magnetic clamping apparatus can be switched, by a reversal of a polarity of a first magnet, between an unclamping state in which a first mold is not clamped on an attraction face of a first magnetic plate 6 and a clamping state in which it is clamped on the attraction face. If a first operation is performed with respect to the magnetic clamping apparatus, a clamping operation of switching from the unclamping state into the clamping state is performed on condition that a proximity sensor is detecting proximity of the first mold. If a second operation that is different from the first operation is performed, the clamping operation is performed on condition that the proximity sensor is not detecting the proximity of the first mold.
