TRAILERED ENGINE DRIVEN LAGOON PUMP FOR MIXING AND PUMPING MANURE SLURRIES
A lagoon pump may comprise a chassis structure having front and rear ends; a tow bar couple releasably to the front end of the chassis structure; a centrifugal pump couple to the rear end of the structure; a diesel engine fluidly connected to a fuel tank; a clutch rotationally connected to the diesel engine; an extended driveline directly connected to the clutch at one end and to the pump at an opposed end to drive the pump via rotational energy from the diesel engine; a pair of steerable wheels connected adjacent the front end of the chassis structure; and ground engaging wheels connected under the chassis structure between the ends, wherein the ground engaging wheels are both extendable radially outwardly and rotatable axially relative to the chassis structure. A method of mixing and pumping a slurry material from a lagoon or storage pit utilizing such a pump is also disclosed.
Pump for immersion within a fluid reservoir
A pump is provided for immersion in a fluid reservoir, such as a pit or lagoon containing liquid manure, from a position at an edge of the reservoir. The pump may be adapted for connection to a farm vehicle, such as a tractor, positioned at the edge of the reservoir. The pump comprises an extensible body, fluid conduit and drive means in order that a length of the pump may be varied in order to accommodate a variety of reservoir fluid heights. In addition, the pump may be pivotable relative to at least a portion of a frame in order that the entrance angle may be adjusted. The pump may comprise a housing with an inlet and an outlet, the outlet in fluid communication with the fluid conduit. An impeller within the housing may direct fluid from the inlet to the outlet in the housing.
SUPPORT VEHICLE FOR AN AGRICULTURAL SYSTEM
A system for refilling a resource of an agricultural system includes the agricultural system including a tank that stores the resource. The system also includes a support vehicle including a container that stores the resource, a locating system that outputs a first signal indicative of a position of the support vehicle, a transfer system that includes a resource transfer device, and a controller communicatively coupled to the locating system and the transfer system including a processor and a memory. The controller determines a target location in a field to position the support vehicle, control the support vehicle such that the support vehicle is directed toward the target location, and instruct the transfer system to activate the resource transfer device to transfer the resource from the container to the tank while the position of the agricultural system is within a threshold distance of the target location.
Fluid pump with multiple pump heads
A fluid pump having at least two pump heads in series permits pumping fluid at both high pressure and high volumetric rate. Each pump head has at least two fluid conduits in fluid communication with a housing, the housing containing an impeller for drawing fluid through an inlet in the housing and moving the fluid through the fluid conduits. The at least two fluid conduits of one pump head combine fluid flow at the inlet of a neighboring pump head to provide a single flow of fluid through the inlet into the neighboring pump head. A drive structure passing through the inlets between two pump heads is configured to commonly drive the impellers in the housing of each pump head.
The pump has a frame, a fluid conduit coupled to the frame, a housing located at a bottom end of the liquid manure pump configured to be immersed in a liquid manure reservoir, a combiner for creating a liquid manure connection between at least two liquid manure outlets of the housing and the fluid conduit. an impeller located within the housing, a drive shaft connected to the impeller, and an agitator nozzle, in fluid communication with at least one of the liquid manure outlets, for directing a portion of the liquid manure outwardly from the pump.
AMPHIBIOUS PUMPING VEHICLE
An amphibious pumping vehicle has a floatable vehicle body, a ground engaging propulsion structure, a fluid pump, a plurality of fluid nozzles comprising a first fluid nozzle connected by a fluid conduit to the fluid pump and at least one second fluid nozzle connected to the fluid conduit, a valve structure in the fluid conduit, the plurality of fluid nozzles and the valve structure co-operating to provide directional control and motive power for the vehicle when floating, and a power source configured to provide power to both the ground engaging propulsion structure and the fluid pump.

Self-propelled filling pipe
A self-propelled filling pipe for a liquid manure spreader has a frame, an elongated pipe on the frame having a lower inlet end and an elevated outlet end, at least two wheels mounted on the frame, a caster wheel mounted on the elongated pipe proximate the lower inlet end and a fluid drive system. The fluid drive system includes a hydraulic pump, a first hydraulic circuit connecting the hydraulic pump to a plurality of hydraulic motors drivingly connected to the wheels. The fluid drive system also includes a second hydraulic circuit connecting the hydraulic pump to a hydraulic motor operatively connected to the caster wheel. A prime mover provides power to the hydraulic pump to power the hydraulic motors to rotate the caster wheel thereby steering the filling pipe and/or to drive the wheels thereby propelling the filling pipe on the ground.
