A pet hydration system comprising of specific ranges of vitamins and minerals conducive to a pet's health, with such nutrients placed into a liquid beverage and ultimately dispensed via a compartmentalized beverage dispenser. The compartmentalized beverage dispenser is formed such that separate liquids are measured out and dispensed to the pet in a manner that the pet receives the optimal amount of nutrition.

An example system includes a controller configured to receive sensor output from a sensor associated with an animal when the animal is in communication range of the system, monitor the sensor output to detect behavior parameters when the animal is in communication range with the base station, generate an alert message when a deviation is detected in the behavior parameters, and transmit the alert message to at least one recipient.

A veterinary enclosure system for an animal such as a small mammal; the veterinary enclosure system comprising at least one animal housing wherein the or each housing comprises at least one moveable door, wherein the or each door is moveable between a closed position covering an opening into the housing and an open position allowing access to the inside of the housing; wherein the or each door comprises at least one ventilation aperture; and the veterinary enclosure system further comprises at least one attachment member for securing a veterinary accessory to the or each housing without preventing movement of the or each door between the closed and the open position and, wherein in the open position, the or each attachment member does not obstruct the opening to the inside of the enclosure.

A veterinary enclosure system for an animal such as a small mammal; the veterinary enclosure system comprising at least one animal housing wherein the or each housing comprises at least one moveable door, wherein the or each door is moveable between a closed position covering an opening into the housing and an open position allowing access to the inside of the housing; wherein the or each door comprises at least one ventilation aperture; and the veterinary enclosure system further comprises at least one attachment member for securing a veterinary accessory to the or each housing without preventing movement of the or each door between the closed and the open position and, wherein in the open position, the or each attachment member does not obstruct the opening to the inside of the enclosure.

A hang-on natural water drinking system adapted to effectuate a natural water state includes: a holder having a pipe segment; a water-holding unit for holding drinking water and provided with a connecting segment for drawing water off the water-holding unit, allowing the pipe segment to fit around the connecting segment; and a drinking unit serving pets and comprising a basic drinking portion, a supporting portion, and a diverting portion, the basic drinking portion having an end extending to form a guide trough for abutting against the connecting segment to guide water to the basic drinking portion. Water is driven by a submerged motor coupled to the basic drinking portion to the diverting portion coupled to the basic drinking portion to circulate through the drinking unit continuously and flow across blocking regions defined at the diverting portion to therefore enter a turbulent white-water drinking state.

A water diffuser is configured to extend from the discharge outlet of a pet fountain and to receive water from the outlet of the pet fountain's water pump. The the diffuser includes a perforate tubular diffuser section that can be releasably coupled or otherwise anchored to part of the fountain by a connecting or coupling section that may be tubular and imperforate. The diffuser can include an insert disposed within the diffuser that is dispensed or released into water flowing through the diffuser. The diffuser may also include a filter for removing contaminants from water flowing through the water. Where used together with an insert, the filter can be disposed within the diffuser upstream of the water treatment for filtering water flowing through the diffuser before treating the flowing water.
