A flexible tube production apparatus includes a die composed of: a cylindrical inner die having an outer face in which a groove is formed; a tubular member that is housed inside the inner die, and has a through-hole that allows a blade wire to be inserted from one end to the other end thereof; and an outer die that surrounds the inner die such that a predetermined gap is generated between itself and the outer face of the inner die, and has an extrusion hole that extrudes the resins having been supplied to the gap, onto the outer face of the blade wire that is fed from the other end of the tubular member. A resin supply portion supplies a first resin and a second resin to the die while the motor rotates the inner die about a center axis.

PEELABLE RESEALABLE MEMBRANE FOR CONTAINERS
The invention comprises a peelable membrane for resealably closing a metal end comprising an outer layer, a tacky layer, and a heat seal layer. The heat seal layer is permanently sealed to the metal end to cover at least one opening in the metal end. The tacky layer causes the peelable membrane to be resealable onto the metal end.

The invention relates to a multilayer plastic film, in particular a multilayer plastic composite film, preferably a multilayer plastic packaging film, based on plastic recyclate (recycled plastic), in particular based on plastic recyclate originating from waste, with a plastic recyclate content of at least 80% by weight, based on the plastic film, and to its use, in particular as packaging material. The plastic recyclate is preferably post-consumer plastic recyclate (PCR plastic recyclate), in particular PCR recycled films.
Process for in-line inspection of functional film layer containing detectable component
The continuity of a functional layer of a web (32, 60, 78) is assessed by forwarding the web, detecting (42, 63) the presence of the functional layer and a discontinuity and/or a thin region in the functional layer, and generating a signal in response to the discontinuity and/or thin region. The functional layer comprises a detectable component (360) in a thermoplastic composition. The detecting is carried out by a machine vision system capable of detecting the detectable component (360) in the functional layer. The detectable component (360) can be active or passive. Also included are systems for carrying out the process.

This invention relates in general to a multilayer tube and methods of making the same. In particular, this invention relates to a multilayer tube used as a riser, such as those that may be connected to shutoff or “stop” valve on one end and a plumbing hook-up to the other end. The multilayer tube comprises a first inner polymer layer and a second outer polymer layer, wherein the first and second polymer layers are not substantially bonded to each other. To facilitate use, the tube may additionally comprise one or more overmolded components, such as pipe connectors, plumbing connections, plumbing fittings, valve connectors and appliance connectors. The layers are not substantially bonded.
