Extrusion method
A method is provided for producing solid cellulose filaments or films from a solution of cellulose, NMMO (N-methylmorpholine-N-oxide) and water, including pressure-extruding the solution by one or more extrusion openings and by solidifying the filaments or films in a precipitation bath. The solution is guided between the extrusion opening and the precipitation bath by an air gap, the temperature of the solution on the extrusion opening being lower than 105 C. and the pressure difference in the air gap between the pressure of the solution immediately prior to extrusion and after extrusion is between 8 and 40 bar.
POLYMERIC FILMS AND BAGS
The present invention is directed to a method of incrementally stretching polymeric film formed from a blown film extrusion process. The present invention is further directed to a polymeric bag formed from an incrementally stretched polymeric film. The incremental stretching is performed on a collapsed polymeric bubble via a pair of intermeshing rollers. The incrementally stretched polymeric film may be stretched only along a portion of its width. The polymeric bag may be a drawstring trash bag with an extended hem where only the extended hem of the bag or the body of the bag comprises incrementally stretched polymeric film.
MELT BLOWING DIE, APPARATUS AND METHOD
A melt blowing die includes a stack of plates including corresponding melt blowing die tip, die body and air functionalities. One or more rows of polymer filament extrusion orifices extend through in a stack direction across multiple plates of a stack. A gas distribution system within the stack has gas outlets are positioned to provide distributed gas flow to contact and attenuate extruded polymer filaments. One of more polymer distribution channels extend longitudinally through multiple plates in the stack direction to supply polymer to each of the rows of extrusion orifices. A polymer distribution channel is open to receive polymer feed only at a longitudinal end. A melt blowing apparatus has a collection substrate movable in a machine direction that is transverse to a stack direction in a melt blowing die. A method for producing fiber-containing material includes melt blowing using a melt blowing die with a stack of plates.
EXTRUSION DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING AN ARTICLE HAVING A CAVITY
An extrusion device for producing an object having a cavity, in particular a tube or a container, includes a material feed that opens into an extrusion nozzle, and a support gas feed that opens into a blow-in opening for introducing support gas into the interior of the resulting object, wherein the support gas feed has at least one valve for regulating the support gas, characterized in that at least one valve for regulating the support gas is a proportional valve which can be regulated by a controller.

Method for pyrolysis of waste material in an industrial process
A method for pyrolysis of a mass of waste material, includes: providing a screw arrangement adapted to supply heat to the mass by mechanical shear; providing a reactor after the screw arrangement, adapted to supply heat to the mass in the absence of oxygen by heating the reactor wall; heating the mass to an exit temperature and increasing the pressure to an exit pressure in the screw arrangement; thermally degrading the mass in the reactor. The mass is brought into an extreme condition at the exit temperature and exit pressure by the screw arrangement, such that during the pressure drop pyrolysis occurs, thereby forming gaseous hydrocarbons within the connecting element.
Multi-lumen tube extrusion molding apparatus
Provided is an extrusion molding apparatus capable of producing a multi tube with which an outer shape of a cross section is close to a perfect circle. The multi-lumen tube extrusion molding apparatus includes a resin supplying portion, a die that has an extrusion port at a lower end portion and molds the multi-lumen tube as the resin supplied from the resin supplying portion is extruded vertically downward, and an outer surface molding apparatus that molds an outer surface of the extruded tube. In a state in which the resin is supplied from the resin supplying portion to the die, the outer surface molding apparatus depressurizes a molding space of circular cylindrical shape in a state in which the extruded tube is contained in the molding space to mold an outer surface of the contained multi-lumen tube to a circular cylindrical shape.
