Extruder for Feed- and Foodstuffs
An extruder for making meat analogue products, where the extruder comprises a product outlet (22), and a longitudinal barrel (8) comprising an inner surface (14) and an outer surface, and where the extruder further comprises heating means for heating at least a part of said inner surface, where said barrel (8) interconnects with said product inlet (5) and outlet (22), where the extruder further comprises a rotor (16) arranged coaxially inside said barrel (8), where said rotor (16) comprises drive means (19) for rotating said rotor (16) in relation to the barrel (8).
SCREW TO BE USED IN AN EXTRUDER AND EXTRUDER
A screw to be used in an extruder has a modular structure so that it can be adapted very flexibly to new tasks and conditions. The modular structure of a screw contains a rod-shaped mandrel and individual screw components which are slidable onto the mandrel. The components perform the classic functions of the screw during the extrusion process, such as conveying, kneading, mixing or shearing of the plastic to be guided into and through the plant.
For transmission of the occurring high torque, the components are connected with the mandrel so that they positively engage and are axially braced in addition. The connection is to be performed such that it can be released by simple means.
SCREW TO BE USED IN AN EXTRUDER AND EXTRUDER
A screw used in an extruder and an extruder having such a screw, in particular a screw used in a multiple-screw extruder and a multiple-screw extruder uses an additional connecting element directly leading from one segment to the next in order to relieve the mandrel. The screw includes a mandrel and a plurality of segments borne by the mandrel and arranged axially with respect to one another, a segment border between a first segment and an axially adjacent second segment has a separate cylindrical connecting element adapted to transmit a torque over the segment border. The ratio of a length of the connecting element to the diameter of the connecting element is higher than 11.
EXTRUDER SCREW, EXTRUDER, AND EXTRUSION METHOD
A conveyance portion, a barrier portion, and a path are provided at places of a screw main body in which a kneading portion is provided. In at least one of the places, the path is provided inside the screw main body, and includes an entrance and an exit. The entrance is opened to urge the raw materials having the conveyance limited by the barrier portion to increase pressure on the raw materials, to flow in the entrance. The raw materials flowing from the entrance flow through the path in the same direction as a conveyance direction of the conveyance portion.
EXTRUDER SCREW, EXTRUDER, AND EXTRUSION METHOD
At a part of the screw main body at which the kneading portion is provided, conveyance portions, a barrier portion and a path are provided at a plurality of places. At least one of the places, the path is provided inside the screw main body, and includes an entrance and an exit. The entrance is opened in such a manner that the raw material whose pressure is enhanced by being restricted in conveyance by the barrier portion flows into the entrance. The path is formed in such a manner that the raw material flowing into the path from the entrance flows toward the exit in a direction opposite to the direction of conveyance.
Device for checking the construction of an extruder screw
A device for checking the construction of an extruder screw having a shaft and screw elements that are to be pushed or have been pushed one after the other onto the shaft in a defined sequence. Each screw element has an element-specific external geometry. A recording device being provided for determining information concerning the sequence of the screw elements that are to be pushed on or have been pushed on and for comparing the information determined with target information, which directly or indirectly describes the target sequence.
Screw elements for extruding plastic compositions
The invention relates to novel screw elements for multi-screw extruders with screw profiles co-rotating in pairs and being fully self-wiping in pairs, to the use of the screw elements in multi-screw extruders and to a process for extruding plastic compositions.
Installation for producing a polymer melt and use of such an installation for producing a polymer melt for a porous film
An installation for producing a polymer melt for a porous film, in particular for a membrane film, comprises a planetary roller extruder. Said extruder is used to produce a flowable polymer melt from thermoplastics. The planetary roller extruder has a filling opening and a discharge side for delivering the polymer melt. A melt pump is further provided. The discharge side of the planetary roller extruder is connected to a downstream inlet side of the melt pump for further conveying the polymer melt. The connection is in the form of a pressure channel shielded from the ambient atmosphere or a pressure line shielded from the ambient atmosphere. The planetary roller extruder and the melt pump are designed and/or can be driven in such a manner that the polymer melt is applied or can be transferred under pressure at the melt pump on the inlet side.
Degassing method, degassing device and use of screw elements
The present invention relates to a process for devolatilising polymer-containing media such as, in particular, polymer melts, polymer solutions and dispersions and also devolatilisation apparatuses for carrying out the abovementioned process.
EXTRUDER SCREW, EXTRUDER, AND EXTRUSION METHOD
An extruder screw includes a screw main body, conveyance portions, barrier portions, and paths. The raw materials, the conveyance of which is limited by the barrier portions, flow in from the entrance. The raw materials flowing in from the entrance flow through the paths in an opposite direction to a conveyance direction of the conveyance portions. The exit is opened in the outer circumferential surface of the screw main body at a position on an upstream side in the conveyance direction in the conveyance portions in which the entrance is opened.
