CLEANING AGENT FOR MOLDING-MACHINE CLEANING AND CLEANING METHOD
The object of the present invention is to provide a cleaning agent that is superior in the initial cleaning effect and allows residues to be easily distributed evenly in the next fabricated molded article. The object is achieved by a cleaning agent used for a molding machine and including a thermoplastic resin and a glass wool.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING BULKED CONTINUOUS CARPET FILAMENT
In particular embodiments, a process for producing bulked continuous carpet filament from recycled polymer utilizes two vacuum pumps (140A, 140B) in combination with a single extruder (100). In various embodiments, the dual vacuum arrangement (e.g., at least two vacuum pumps (140A, 140B)) operably coupled to the single extruder (e.g., MRS extruder (100)) may be configured to remove one or more impurities from recycled polymer as the recycled polymer passes through the extruder.
Cleaning agent for cleaning polymer processing equipment, method for producing it and its use
A cleaning agent for cleaning polymer processing equipment, a method for producing such cleaning agent and the use of such cleaning agent for cleaning polymer processing equipment or any component thereof. The cleaning agent comprises i) a thermoplastic resin and ii) a foaming agent selected from alkali metal and ammonium bicarbonates.
Poly(meth)acrylimide film, easy-adhesion film using same, and method for manufacturing such films
Embodiments of the invention relate to a poly(meth)acrylimide film and a method for manufacturing such a film. At least one embodiment provides a poly(meth)acrylimide film that has (i) a total light transmittance of over 90% and (ii) haze of 2.0% or less. This film preferably has retardation of less than 50 nm. The method for manufacturing this film includes the following steps: (A) using a device provided with an extruder and a T die, a poly(meth)acrylimide molten film is continuously extruded from the T die; and (B) the poly(meth)acrylimide molten film is loaded by being fed between a rotating or circulating first mirrored-surface body and a rotating or circulating second mirrored-surface body, and then the film is pressed. During these steps, (C) the surface temperature of the first mirrored-surface body is in the range 100-200 C., and (D) the surface temperature of the second mirrored-surface body is in the range 20-200 C.
Multi-shaft extruder
In a multi-shaft extruder for the processing of free-flowing material having a barrel and a plurality of co-rotating, tightly intermeshing conveyor shafts (1 to 3) arranged in parallel which have at least two flights and are each guided in a bore (1 to 3) in the barrel, each conveyor shaft (1 to 3) is spaced with the ridge (O) of one of its flights from the bore wall (1, 2, 3) by a clearance over at least part of the processing length of the extruder, whereas a gap is formed between the ridge (a, b, c) of another of its flights and the bore wall (1, 2, 3). The conveyor shafts (1 to 3) are arranged in an offset manner relative to each other at an angle such that, at least in one rotational position, the conveyor shaft (2) arranged between two conveyor shafts (1 to 3) is coatable with the free-flowing material on its flanks (A, B) between its ridges (b, O) by means of the gap-forming ridges (a, c) of the two adjacent conveyor shafts (1 and 3), with the said flanks (A, B) being cleanable again from the free-flowing material by means of the ridges (O) of the two adjacent conveyor shafts (1 and 2) spaced from the bore wall (1, 2, 3) by a clearance in at least one further rotational position of the conveyor shaft.
AUTOMATIC CLEANING METHOD FOR POWDER COATING PRODUCTION LINE
A method of cleaning a powder coating production line, the method including: providing a powder coating production line including equipment, an automatic cleaning tool, and a monitoring device; receiving, by the equipment, an instruction of automatic cleaning, and allowing the equipment to enter an automatic cleaning mode; cleaning, by the automatic cleaning tool, the equipment of the powder coating production line; monitoring, according to a preset monitoring condition and by the monitoring device, whether the automatic cleaning is completed; stopping the automatic cleaning when the monitoring device indicates the automatic cleaning has been completed, or continuing the automatic cleaning of the equipment; and turning off the automatic cleaning mode of the equipment.
Process for manufacturing a hollow body and the manufactured body
A process for manufacturing a diesel tank or filler pipe by an extrusion-blow molding machine configured to manufacture a gasoline tank or filler pipe. The extrusion-blow molding machine includes a coextrusion head including at least one extruder configured to provide during a first period of time a first material that is a barrier to liquids and/or gases, such that during the first period of time the coextrusion head produces a first multilayer parison from which the gasoline tank or filler pipe can be manufactured. The extruder is further configured to provide during a second period of time a second material distinct from the first material, such that during the second period of time the coextrusion head produces a second multilayer parison from which the diesel tank or filler pipe can be manufactured.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A DYED AND AN UNDYED PLASTIC MELT
A device for producing a dyed plastic melt and an undyed plastic melt includes a multi-shaft screw extruder, a first metering installation, a second metering installation, and a control installation for selecting between a first operating mode for producing the dyed plastic melt and a second operating mode for producing the undyed plastic melt. The first metering installation serves for feeding an undyed plastic material through a first infeed opening into a housing of the multi-shaft screw extruder, and the second metering installation serves for feeding at least one color granulate through a second infeed opening into the housing. The plastic material is fed exclusively by way of the first infeed opening such that residual color granulate or dyeing agent contained therein, respectively, which is still located in the second metering installation or in the region of the second infeed opening does not contaminate the undyed plastic melt.
