Variable Land Extrusion Assembly
An extrusion assembly may include an extrusion die and an extrusion tip at least partially positioned within the die. The extrusion tip may include a base portion having a tapered end and an opening positioned approximately at an apex of the tapered end. An insert may be adjustably positioned within the base portion and configured to extend through, the opening to form a land. A length of the land may be variable as the position of the insert within the base portion is adjusted.
Liquid-cooled fused filament fabrication nozzle
The present invention provides an integral cooling system within an FFF nozzle manifold. The system includes a cooling reservoir formed within the body of the nozzle manifold, adapted to circulate a cooling liquid around the filament chamber and nozzle orifice. The coolant channel is situated to be in close physical proximity to the chamber and orifice, and to be thermally coupled to both via the body of the nozzle manifold. In addition, the interior of the cooling chamber is constructed so as to maximize the available surface area within a given cross-sectional geometry, thereby promoting increase heat transfer between the nozzle manifold and the cooling liquid.
Process and Apparatus for Extruding Bands of Material onto a Substrate
A extrusion process and apparatus for the deposition of precise, usually small amounts of extrudate (4) for adhesion to a substrate (1) comprising an extruder (2) positioned close to the substrate (1) and a jet of hot gas (6) directed onto the extrudate (1) between the extruder (2) and the substrate (1) in order to retain the adhesive properties between the extrudate (4) and the substrate (1).
Apparatus for Imparting Color to Food Material During the Decorating of Foods
An apparatus used for imparting color to food material during the decorating of foods. This apparatus can be used to impart color from solid, liquid or semi-liquid coloring compounds to a wide variety of food material such as frosting and icing.
Method for producing an electrical line, tool mould for such a method, and line
A process produces an electrical line which extends in the longitudinal direction and the line has a line core and an outer shell. In a continuous shaping process, individual shell portions of the outer shell are formed successively by surrounding the line core with a curable plastic substance. In at least one portion, the outer shell is produced having a cross-sectional geometry which can be varied in the longitudinal direction of the line.
DIE, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING DIE, EXTRUSION APPARATUS, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING PELLETS
A die 6 includes a central member 6a, an injection hole formed from a surface of the central member 6a to an inside, a plurality of nozzles formed from an opposite surface of the central member 6a to the inside and connected to the injection hole, a heat source provided inside the central member 6a, and a plurality of heat insulating portions 31a provided inside the central member 6a. The plurality of heat insulating portions 31a extend from an outer peripheral side of the central member 6a toward an inner side of the central member 6a in plan view.
Coextruded polymeric nettings and method of making the same
Articles comprising first and second coextruded polymeric nettings are described. The articles comprise a plurality of pairs of first segments comprising a first material. Adjacent first segments are joined together via a second segments comprising second material, wherein the second segments extend past the first major surface of each first adjacent segments. The articles further include an adhesive on at least one of the first or second major surfaces of the first segment. The first segments, second segments, and third material each extend continuously for at least 5 mm in the machine direction, and the first and second materials of adjacent pairs are periodically bonded together in the machine direction. A portion of some of the first segments of the first coextruded polymeric netting are engaged between some of the adjacent first segments of the second coextruded polymeric netting.
DEVICE FOR PRODUCING PLASTIC PIPES
A device for producing plastic pipes may include an extruder with a die head and a corrugator, into which a molten plastic tube is introduced by means of the die head to mold the plastic pipe, wherein the corrugator has a molding section, in which molding jaws are guided in pairs in the production direction. In an inlet section of the corrugator, the molding jaws are brought together to form molding jaw pairs towards the start of the molding section, and in an outlet section of the corrugator, the molding jaw pairs are moved apart from each other from the end of the molding section. The guiding apparatus has a guide and/or temperature-control element apparatus having a temperature-control medium channel apparatus through which temperature-control medium can flow, and a guide and/or temperature-control surface apparatus, which faces the outer side of the molding jaws passing through, transferring heat.
Nanofiber manufacturing device and nanofiber manufacturing method
According to the embodiment, a nanofiber manufacturing device that includes an ejector and a power generator is provided. The ejector is capable of ejecting a solution from a head portion toward a target. The power generator generates a potential difference between the head portion and the target. The head portion includes a first guide having a first surface and a second guide having a second surface, the first surface and the second surface making a gap, the gap being capable of maintaining the solution. A tip of at least one of the first guide and the second guide includes a maintain portion provided so as to be capable of maintaining the solution.
