Container with product visualization aperture
The present invention relates to a method for providing a product viewing window in a container. The container has at least a body ply and a liner ply, wherein the body ply has at least one aperture therethrough. The liner ply is adhered to the inner surface of the body ply and has a portion extending across the aperture, forming a window into the container. The method involves providing a window-finishing machine that comprises at least two platens and, optionally, a machine pocket positioned between them, a heating element extending through at least one of the platens, and a pressurized air device that is adapted to release pressurized air into the container through at least one of the platens. The container is engaged between the platens in an airtight manner and, optionally, the container window is positioned adjacent the inside wall of the machine pocket. The heating element heats the window of the container to the desired temperature, pressurized air is injected into the container such that the window is forced at least partially through the aperture of the container (and optionally into contact with the machine pocket wall), and the container window is then cooled to the desired temperature.

COMPOSITE PREFORM, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME, COMPOSITE CONTAINER, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAID COMPOSITE CONTAINER, AND HEAT SHRINKABLE PLASTIC MEMBER
This method for manufacturing a composite preform (70) includes: preparing a preform (10a) that is formed from a plastic material; preparing a tubular heat shrinkable plastic member (40a) that is longer than the preform (10a) and has a margin (80a) for thermocompression bonding at one end; inserting the preform (10a) into the plastic member (40a); having the plastic member (40a) undergo thermal shrinkage by heating the preform (10a) and the plastic member (40a); and bonding the margin (80a) of the plastic member by thermocompression.
Composite container
A composite container having a paper label adhered without adhesives to a container body at at least one of the top end edge outer circumferential surface of the container body and the bottom end edge outer circumferential surface of the base part of the container body. Adherence of the paper label to the container body being effectuated by disposing the paper label in a mold and biaxial stretch blow shaping a preform into the container body with a liquid as a pressurized medium.

Process and machinery for integration of discrete parts into composite containers
A process of manual, semi-automatic and fully-automated integration of discrete components into a container that results in fast, reliable, cost-effective, and scalable production of composite containers is disclosed. The process can be embodied in manufacturing equipment that has a series of stations and may be called an assembly device. The equipment can produce containers, tubs, canisters, cartridges, etc. which are easily separated into different bio-degradable or compostable parts. Other container types are possible and are contemplated.
Method and apparatus for the fabrication of a container, such as a beverage container
A method for the fabrication of a container (802), comprising the steps of: providing a preform (705), said preform being substantially tubular in form and being provided with a closed end (709), a cavity (707), and an open end (710) communicating with said cavity (707); positioning at least one restriction device (711, 714) relative to the preform (705) so as to define at least one restriction zone and restrict expansion of the preform (705) therein; injecting a pre-determined volume of an incompressible fluid (800) into the cavity (707) of the preform (705) via the open end (710), provoking the preform (705) to plastically deform by expansion, said preform (705) expanding freely in at least one expansion zone outside said at least one restriction zone; and Using for the fabrication of a beverage container (802).
