Apparatus for forming plastic preforms into plastic containers has a transport device having a rotatable transport carrier on which a large number of forming stations are arranged. The forming stations each have blow molding devices, within which the plastic preforms can be formed into the plastic containers by applying a flowable medium, and the forming stations each have application devices for applying the flowable medium to the plastic preforms. The apparatus has a clean room within which the plastic preforms are expanded to form the plastic containers, and such clean room is delimited from a non-sterile environment by at least one wall. The apparatus also has an exchange device for exchanging blow molding devices.

A polymeric container including a base, a body, a finish, finish threads, and a tamper lip. The finish threads are at an outer surface of the finish, and are configured to cooperate with closure threads of a closure to secure the closure to the finish. The tamper lip extends from the outer surface of the finish, and is configured to replace the support flange during handling, and to cooperate with a tamper band of the closure. A recess is below the tamper lip. The recess retains the tamper band below the tamper lip when the closure is removed from cooperation with the finish. A gripper groove between the finish threads, the gripper groove configured to cooperate with a gripper for grasping the finish.

A rotary machine includes a main axis, a plurality of first stations and a plurality of second stations. Each first station rotates around the main axis and applies a first process to a container. Each second station rotates around the main axis and applies a second process to a processed container. The machine also includes an internal exit position, at which each first station is located once the first station has completed the first process and that is arranged to release the processed container. At an internal entry position, each second station is arranged to receive the released processed container. At least one transfer arm is adapted to seize a processed container and move the processed container between a first station located at the internal exit position and a second station located at the internal entry position.

A synthetic resin container includes a tubular mouth and forms an accommodation space for contents. An outer circumferential surface of the mouth is provided with a gripper engaging groove to be engaged with a gripper of a transfer apparatus, the gripper engaging groove is formed such that a width of the groove of an opening opened in the outer circumferential surface of the mouth is decreased from an opening toward a bottom of the groove, and the gripper engaging groove corresponds to a shape of the gripper and has an upper side inclination and a lower side inclination respectively obliquely extending with respect to a plane perpendicular to an axis of the mouth.

A system for producing plastic containers with a heating device for heating plastic preforms, wherein the heating device has a transport device for transporting plastic preforms along a predetermined first transport path, and a plurality of holding devices for holding the plastic preforms and at least one heating device which heats the plastic preforms during the transport thereof and comprising a forming device for forming the plastic preforms to form plastic containers. The forming device is configured for expanding the plastic preforms heated by the heating device by applying a flowable medium, and includes a plurality of forming stations which form the plastic preforms to form the plastic containers. Both the heating device and the forming device have changeable elements, wherein the system has a changing device configured for changing both changeable elements of the heating device and changeable elements of the forming device.

The invention relates to a device and a method for transporting and handling containers, in particular containers made of a thermoplastic material. The containers are transported from an inlet point (41) to an outlet point (30) in a transport direction by the transport device. The transport device has at least one handling device (26) which moves in the transport direction for handling one or more of the containers in a simultaneous manner in particular, and the handling device (26) is arranged in a movable manner relative to the transport device in order to move in a direction which deviates from the transport direction. The invention is characterized in that the transport device has at least one motor (32, 34, 37), by means of which the at least one handling device (26) can be moved in a motor-driven manner in the direction which deviates from the transport direction.

In particular, the invention relates to a movement system of containers to and from a processing unit of said containers, comprising: a rotating carousel, at the perimeter of which a plurality of said processing units are arranged; a distribution unit (3) of said containers, comprising at least one distribution star (107) placed substantially at a tangent to said carousel and rotating in synchrony, but in the opposite direction to said carousel, characterized in that said distribution unit (3) comprises a plurality of upper clamps (13) for transferring a container to a respective processing unit and a plurality of lower clamps (14) for transferring a container from said processing unit to said distribution unit (3), and in that said processing unit comprises a clamp, which is movable between an upper position, at the level of said upper clamps (13) of the distribution unit (3), for the gripping of a container by a respective upper clamp (13) of the distribution unit (3), and a lower position, at the level of said lower clamps (14) of the distribution unit (3), for transferring said container to said processing unit.
