Apparatus for forming hollow containers (110), suitable to contain in particular one or more liquid or semi-liquid food products, starting from parisons (F) made of thermoplastic material. The apparatus comprises a matrix (11) defined by a pair of molds (12) cooperating with each other to define a cavity (13) shaped like the container (110) to be formed, and to define a support channel (14), configured to define an additional portion (112) of said container (110). The apparatus also comprises a forming punch (17), operatively mobile through said support channel (14) to enter into/exit from said cavity (13) so as to thrust and blow one of said parisons (F) against the walls of said cavity (13) to form at least said container (110).

Method of handling a plastic container having a moveable base

Method for processing hot-filled plastic containers are provided. In some embodiments, the method may include hot-filling a plastic container, sealing the container, and conveying the sealed container, each with an inner annular wall and a push-up portion in a first position. In some embodiments, the method may further include creating a vacuum pressure in the hot-filled and sealed container and repositioning the push-up portion from the first position to a second position under a mechanical force.

Facility for the production of bottles of liquid products, the bottles being formed from thermoformable plastic, the facility including a blowing device for blowing bottles from preforms, with a heating tunnel, a filling and finishing line including bottle filling, sealing, and/or capping stations, with a buffer conveyor interposed between the blowing device and the filling and finishing line, formed mainly as an endless conveyor suitable for receiving bottles, the buffer conveyor including a first section used under normal flow conditions, and a second section complementary to the first section and serving as buffer storage space under conditions of unplanned stoppage of the filling line, the bottle storage capacity of the second section being at least equal to the number of bottles and preforms which can be received in the blowing machine including in the heating tunnel.

Method for reducing the microbiological loading of container products

A method reduces the microbiological loading of container products made at least partially of at least one plastic material. As part of a first production process, a plastic granulate (29) is fed to an extruder device (19), which melts the granulate (29). As part of a subsequent production process, the melted granulate is forwarded onto a blow-molding, filling and sealing machine for obtaining the respective container product. At least in parts of the first production process, the plastic material undergoes at least one of the following treatment steps: high-energy radiation and/or plasma treatment and/or a gas having a sterilizing effect.

Method and device for producing a container from a thermoplastic parison

The invention relates to a method for producing a container from a thermoplastic parison, the container being produced from the parison with the aid of a fluid, either by blow molding and subsequent filling with a fluid that is in particular liquid, or being produced by hydroforming and subsequently containing the liquid fluid as contents, and, during the blow-molding process and/or when receiving the in particular liquid fluid, the container revolves about and is spaced apart from an axis of rotation extending, in particular, vertically, in a mold that can be opened. According to the invention, the closed mold adopts, at least temporarily, an inclined position, i.e. that deviates from a perpendicular position.

CONTAINER AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE

A method includes injection molding a preform using a two phase injection system having a first phase in which a material is injected into the preform and a second phase in which the material is injected into the preform. The preform is disposed in a mold. The preform is blow molded into an intermediate article. The intermediate article is trimmed to form a finished container. The first phase includes injecting a material into the preform to form a single layer of the preform and the second phase includes injecting the material to form inner and outer layers and an intermediate layer between the inner and outer layers. The inner and outer layers include the material and the intermediate layer includes at least one additive. Finished containers are disclosed.

METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A SERIES OF CONTAINERS COMPRISING A STEP FOR MARKING CONTAINERS

The invention relates to a method for controlling a production facility of a series of containers from a series of preforms made of plastic materials. The method includes a first step of producing a preliminary series of individual containers from a preliminary series of preforms made of plastic materials. For each individual container produced during a tracking period, the method records (i) a marking that distinguishes said container other containers produced during said tracking period, and (ii) data relative to the production facility, its operation, and/or the preform or container. The method also includes a second step during which one or more physical values of each of the individually identified containers are measured during the first step, and a third step of compiling a database that matches, for each individually identified container, the measurement(s) of the second step, and the series of data acquired during the first step.

Disclosed is a method for forming blanks made from plastic material into containers, the method including steps of blowing into the blanks in such a way as to form them into containers, then internally degassing the formed containers. In the method, the steps are carried out according to a first cycle at a first rate. Then, during a second subsequent cycle of steps carried out at a second rate slower than the first rate, a time delay is added with respect to the first cycle, during or after degassing, such that the second cycle lasts longer than the first.
