A vacuum forming method for a membrane-like object having a protruding structure and its forming apparatus, the forming method includes the following steps: fixing a flat membrane having a protruding structure on a sealing device; fixing a product model on a vacuum pumping device; clamping a transfer device on the protruding structure; utilizing a heating device to heat the flat membrane for softening the flat membrane; controlling the transfer device to move the protruding structure to a predetermined forming position; fitting the sealing device tightly to the vacuum pumping device; pumping out air between the flat membrane and the product model by the vacuum pumping device to generate negative pressure, so that the flat membrane is completely attached to a surface of the product model to form a final membrane having the protruding structure; after cooling, the final membrane having the protruding structure is taken out of the cooling room.

The disclosure relates to a method for manufacturing a pipe made of thermoformable foam, comprising the following steps: a) inserting at least one sheet of thermoformable foam into a shaping mould provided with lips that are configured to engage with one another, the shaping mould being pre-installed in or on a tool that is capable of closing and opening the lips, the at least one sheet having two side edges that connect a first end edge to a second end edge; b) closing the lips of the shaping mould by means of the tool so as to pre-form the at least one sheet into the shape of a pipe in which the side edges thereof are joined together; and c) heating the at least one sheet, with its shaping mould, to a temperature suitable for welding the side edges and for thermoforming the pipe.

An upper mold device includes an upper mold mechanism, a gas storage unit adapted to store a processing gas, gas intake and exhaust units, and a negative pressure source. The upper mold mechanism includes a seal cover that is adapted to connected to and cooperate with a lower mold device to define a processing section therebetween, and gas inlet and outlet connectors that are mounted to the seal cover. The gas intake unit is in fluid communication with the gas storage unit and the gas inlet connector. The gas exhaust unit is in fluid communication with the gas outlet connector. The negative pressure source is in fluid communication with the gas exhaust unit, and extracts air that is in the processing section via the gas exhaust unit when activated, such that the processing gas flows into the processing section via the gas intake unit.
