A method of forming a cushioning element. The method including placing a first sheet adjacent to an outer surface of a first mold portion, the first mold portion including a first mold cavity. The method including pressing a portion of the first sheet into the first mold portion and into the first mold cavity with a forming tool, wherein at least a portion of the forming tool is extended into the first mold cavity. The method including applying negative pressure to the first mold cavity to draw the portion of the first sheet into the first mold cavity, and joining a second sheet to the first sheet to form the cushioning element.

FORMING MOLD
In the present invention, a laser pointer is mounted on an upper mold and formed to mark a position of an auxiliary raw material disposed on a raw material disposed on a lower mold so that everyone can easily accurately arrange the auxiliary raw material at a predetermined position and molds the auxiliary raw material to improve a molding efficiency. In particular, in the present invention, the laser pointer is formed to mark vertex positions of the auxiliary raw material so that an operator can arrange vertexes of the auxiliary raw material at the predetermined position to quickly arrange the auxiliary raw material at the predetermined position and accurately mold the auxiliary raw material. In this case, in the present invention, at least two laser points are mounted along an edge of the upper mold to mark vertices of the auxiliary raw material so that the auxiliary raw material can be more quickly accurately disposed at the predetermined position and integrally molded.
DEEP-DRAWING APPARATUS AND PACKAGING MACHINE HAVING A DEEP-DRAWING APPARATUS
A deep-drawing arrangement is for deep-drawing a continuously supplied film strip. The deep-drawing arrangement includes a transporter which revolves continuously around a fixed machine frame and which has plate elements and mold cavities and a cyclically timed deep-drawing apparatus, wherein the mold cavities can be acted on with a pressure reduction. The plate elements are permanently connected to each other via connection lines. A plate element is in the form of a connection element having at least one pressure reduction connection. The pressure reduction connection is connected to a pressure reduction source. The plate elements are permanently acted on with the pressure reduction during operation via the connection lines and the pressure reduction connection. Each plate element has at least one switching valve for connecting the pressure reduction which is permanently applied in the plate element to the associated mold cavities as required.
DEEP-DRAWING APPARATUS AND PACKAGING MACHINE HAVING A DEEP-DRAWING APPARATUS
A deep-drawing arrangement is for deep-drawing a continuously supplied film strip. SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR THERMOFORMING AN OBJECT
A system for thermoforming an object is provided. The system includes a mold and a pressure-box. The mold has a surface that defines a shape of the object and includes two or more portions of differing porosities. The pressure-box is operative to generate a pressure differential across the surface. The two or more portions apply the pressure differential at different loads, based at least in part on the differing porosities, to a material disposed onto the surface so as to form the object by deforming the material into the shape.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR THERMOFORMING AN OBJECT
A system for thermoforming an object is provided. The system includes a mold and a pressure-box. The mold has a surface that defines a shape of the object and includes two or more portions of differing porosities. The pressure-box is operative to generate a pressure differential across the surface. The two or more portions apply the pressure differential at different loads, based at least in part on the differing porosities, to a material disposed onto the surface so as to form the object by deforming the material into the shape.

The method includes steps of: forming the accessory part to include an annular portion having an annular shape and a plurality of projections each projecting from the annual portion in a radially inward direction; and pressing the annular portion and the projections into the parison to be welded to the parison. Also provided is a welding structure of a tank body made of a resin and an accessory part made of a thermoplastic resin and welded to a wall surface of the tank body. The accessory part includes: an annular portion having an annular shape; and a plurality of projections each projecting from the annular portion in a radially inward direction. The annular portion and the plurality of projections are welded to the wall surface.
