Thermoplastic tube bending method
A thermoplastic tube bending method suppresses springback after the processing by a highly safe and short bending step. The thermoplastic tube bending method includes a step S1 of preheating the thermoplastic tube, a step S2 of bending the preheated thermoplastic tube by using a forming mold, and a step S3 of forming the bent thermoplastic tube by temperature control of an electric heater provided to the forming mold.
DEVICE FOR MAINTAINING THE SHAPE OF CROSS-SECTIONAL PROFILE OF AN ELONGATED ELEMENT INCLUDING COMPOSITE MATERIAL, AND A DEVICE FOR BENDING THEREOF
A device for maintaining a shape of a transverse cross-sectional profile of an elongated orthopedic implant during shaping, which may include: a first and second elongated parts having contacting surfaces, each of the first and second elongated parts including: an outer surface, and an inner surface including: a central concave portion, and two peripheral portions disposed on each side of the central concave portion, each of the two peripheral portions being mirror a half of the central concave portion which is closest to the respective peripheral portion.
Reinforced thermoplastic pipe
A pipe intended to be mounted in a fluid circuit of an aircraft, the pipe comprising a tube and two connection ends, the tube being made of a thermoplastic material and having a cylindrical shape, the tube defining an internal surface, intended to be in contact with the fluid, and an external surface opposite the internal surface, the pipe comprising at least one reinforcement band extending longitudinally on the external surface of a longitudinal portion of the tube, so as to form a reinforced portion of the tube.

Tube assembly and method of forming same
A method of manufacturing a tube assembly includes surrounding an outer surface of a cured rubber hose with a thermoplastic layer, the cured rubber hose extending along a length between a first end and a second end and having a first shape along its length, the thermoplastic layer surrounding the cured rubber hose along at least a portion of the length. The cured rubber hose surrounded with the thermoplastic layer is molded into a second shape different than the first shape. The cured rubber hose is retained in the second shape by the thermoplastic layer. A tube assembly includes a cured rubber hose and thermoplastic layer surrounding the rubber hose along at least a portion of the length of the cured rubber hose. The cured rubber hose has been cured in a first shape along its length and the thermoplastic layer retains the cured rubber hose in a second shape.
Method of manufacturing a door frame subassembly for an electronic display assembly
Methods of manufacturing a door frame subassembly for an electronic display assembly and related systems and apparatuses are disclosed. A material is extruded to form a frame. The material is bent into a rectangular shape with rounded corners to define an opening. Notches may be formed in the frame to facilitate the bending. A remaining gap in the material is joined, such as by a bracket at a lower portion of the opening to secure the frame to itself.
SHAPED STAINLESS STEEL BRAIDED POLYTETRAFLUOROETHYLENE (PTFE) TUBES AND SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FABRICATING THE SAME
One aspect of the invention provides an apparatus including: a blank defining a path for receiving and holding a tube in a desired shape including at least one non-linear portion; a heater within or in thermal communication with the blank; and a controller programmed to control the heater to heat the blank and a tube received therein to a temperature sufficient to impart the desired shape upon the tube after cooling. Another aspect of the invention provides a tube including at least one non-linear portion produced according to any of the methods described herein.
