Mould for the Spatial Shaping of Plastic Parts made of HDPE or PA or Similar Plastics, in particular HDPE or PA Tubes
The invention relates to a mould for the spatial shaping of plastic parts made of HDPE or PA or similar plastics, particularly HDPE or PA tubes, which comprises a body (1), which is provided with at least one contact wall (20) for contacting the mould with the shaped material. At least the contact wall (20) is made of a material with a thermal conductivity lower than 5 W.Math.m.sup.1.Math.K.sup.1.
Method for producing an extrusion molded product for automobiles
A method for producing an extrusion molded product for automobiles, comprising the following steps: A synthetic resin injected into a first extrusion molding machine (21) is extruded through a first mold die (20) as a core material (3); the core material (3) passes through a first cooling tank (25), and then is bent by bending rollers (22) into a desired curved shape with a radius of curvature R1; the core material (3) is extended linearly, and goes into a second mold die (23); a thermoplastic elastomer injected in a second extrusion molding machine (24) forms seal portions (2) and seal lip portions (6) on a periphery of the core material (3); thereby forming a curved portion with a radius of curvature R2 on the extrusion molded product (1).
APPARATUS FOR FORMING RUBBER HOSE
A hose forming apparatus is provided that can separate with minimum shape deformation when separating a hose after forming is complete. The hose shaping apparatus includes an insertion path configured to insert a hose in a longitudinal direction and to have a shape corresponding to that of the hose to be formed; and a fixing portion configured to fix the hose inserted into the insertion path, wherein the insertion path forms a straight insertion portion configured to insert a straight segment of the hose to be formed and a bending insertion portion configured to insert a bending segment of the hose, and the bending insertion portion has an additional angle further bent by 15 to 35 than an angle of the bending segment.
Curved heat shrink tubing and methods of making the same
Curved heat shrink tubing and methods of making the same are described herein. An example method includes inserting heat shrink tubing into a tube, curving the tube, and deforming the heat shrink tubing, inside of the tube, to have a curved shape along a length of the heat shrink tubing where a first length of the heat shrink tubing along an outer radius of the curved shape is longer than a second length of the heat shrink tubing along an inner radius of the curved shape.
REINFORCED THERMOPLASTIC PIPE
A pipe intended to be mounted in a fluid circuit of an aircraft, the pipe comprising a tube and two connection ends, the tube being made of a thermoplastic material and having a cylindrical shape, the tube defining an internal surface, intended to be in contact with the fluid, and an external surface opposite the internal surface, the pipe comprising at least one reinforcement band extending longitudinally on the external surface of a longitudinal portion of the tube, so as to form a reinforced portion of the tube.
Method of Shaping Products made of HDPE or PA, particularly Spatial Shaping of HDPE or PA Tubes, and a Device for Performing it
The invention relates to a method of shaping products made of HDPE or PA, particularly spatial shaping of HDPE or PA tubes, in which HDPE or PA semi-finished product is shaped. A semi-finished product from HDPE or PA is first heated to temperature T close to melting temperature T.sub.g of the material so that the material remains in a solid state, T the semi-finished product made of HDPE or PA is left at this temperature for time period t.sub.1 required to obtain plasticity and to disrupt completely or partially the crystalline or semi-crystalline structure of the HDPE or PA material and for relaxing the internal tension of the HDPE or PA material and for restoring the amorphous or partially amorphous state of the material, whereupon the HDPE or PA semi-finished product is inserted into a shaping fixture and the temperature of the HDPE or PA material gradually decreases to ambient temperature.
The invention also relates to a device for performing the method.
Device for automatically insetting tube into bending die
An object of the present invention is to propose a device capable of automatically insetting a tube into a bending die instead of doing so manually, even if the shape of a product exceeds two meters in length, the device comprising a bending die having a tube insetting portion, and a traveling body that includes a guide mechanism guiding a tube to an upper portion of the tube insetting portion, an auxiliary guide mechanism keeping the tube in the upper portion of the tube insetting portion, a insetting roll insetting the tube in the tube insetting portion, a pair of drive wheels rolling along lower rails, and a drive mechanism, wherein the traveling body moves and insets a tube into the bending die while having the auxiliary guide mechanism and the drive wheels grip the bending die.
Method for in-process forming of complexly shaped rigid composite tubing
A method for forming a composite tube includes the steps of: braiding a plurality of strips to form a workpiece tube; bending the workpiece tube to form a bend; and extending the length of the workpiece tube by continuing the braiding step.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SHAPING COMPOSITE STRUCTURES
A method for shaping a composite structure includes steps of: (1) holding a composite member in an initial contour along a length of the composite member; and (2) forming a final contour along the length of the composite member by: (3) sequentially shaping formed portions of the composite member while holding unformed portions of the composite member in the initial contour to form portions of the final contour; and (4) sequentially shaping the unformed portions of the composite member to form other portions of the final contour.
Apparatus for induction heating and bending of thermoplastic composite tubes and a method for using same
An apparatus for bending a composite tube that includes an induction coil. Induction coil includes multiple turns and the turn-to-turn spacing changes at least once along the length of the induction coil. There is a heating element positioned near the induction coil and the induction coil is configured to cause the heating element to increase in temperature.
