MASTER, TRANSFER COPY, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING MASTER
There are provided a master and a method for manufacturing the master, the master having, on its outer peripheral surface, a concave-convex structure in which concavities or convexities are continuously arranged with high precision. The master includes: a substrate with a hollow cylindrical shape or cylindrical shape; and a concave-convex structure on an outer peripheral surface of the substrate. The concave-convex structure has concavities or convexities continuously arranged at a predetermined pitch in a circumferential direction of the substrate. The concavities or convexities are arranged with a predetermined phase difference between circumferential rows adjacent in an axial direction of the substrate.
SEAT COVERING MATERIAL, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SEAT COVERING MATERIAL, AND EMBOSSING ROLL
A heating embossing roll has a base surface on which a plurality of embossing portion is formed. An elongated material passes between the heating embossing roll and a heating flat roll so that the elongated material is pressed by the embossing portions of the heating embossing roll. The embossing portion is formed to have a height from the base surface that varies by section.
EMBOSSED FILM, SHEET FILM, TRANSFER COPY, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING EMBOSSED FILM
There is provided an embossed film in which the frequency of loss of concavities is smaller, the embossed film including: a film main body; and a plurality of concavities formed on a surface of the film main body. A diameter of an opening surface of the concavity is larger than a visible light wavelength, an arrangement pattern of the concavities has periodicity along a length direction of the film main body, and the difference between the rate of loss of concavities in one end portion of the film main body and the rate of loss of concavities in the other end portion of the film main body is 10 ppm or less.
IMPRINTING APPARATUS AND IMPRINTING METHOD
An imprinting apparatus includes a first conveyer unit, a flexible imprinting mold film and a driving roller set. The first conveyer is adapted to convey a workpiece to a working region of the imprinting apparatus. The flexible imprinting mold film has imprinting segments. At least one of the imprinting segments is located in the working region. The workpiece is adapted to be imprinted in the working region through the corresponding imprinting segment. The flexible imprinting mold film is partially rolled around the driving roller set, the imprinting segment located in the working region is expanded from the driving roller set, and the driving roller set is adapted to drive the flexible imprinting mold film, such that at least another one of the imprinting segments rolled around the driving roller set is expanded from the driving roller set and moved to the working region. Besides, an imprinting method is also provided.
Method for forming a trim element having a layer of ligneous material and an engraved pattern
A vehicle trim element is formed by a method that includes the steps of: applying a film on the front face of a layer of ligneous material, with the applied film having at least one engraved pattern; placing the layer of ligneous material together with the applied film in a forming tool, with the front face of the layer being turned towards a wall of the forming tool; pressing the layer of ligneous material together with the applied film against the wall such that the layer adopts the shape of the trim element to be produced and such that, during the pressing of the layer and applied film, the engraved pattern is transferred to the front face of the layer; and removing the film after the pressing of the layer of ligneous material in order to obtain the trim element having a front face with the engraved pattern.
Method for manufacturing mold and method for manufacturing molded article having fine uneven structure on surface
A method for manufacturing a mold includes (a) anodizing an aluminum substrate at a voltage of 60 V to 120 V in an electrolytic solution in which two or more species of acid are mixed, and forming an oxide film having a plurality of minute holes on a surface of the aluminum substrate; and (b) removing at least a portion of the oxide film. The electrolytic solution used in (a) satisfies the relation (D1)/2<D2, where D1 is the current density when the aluminum substrate is anodized under the same conditions as in (a) in an electrolytic solution of only the acid (A) having the highest acid dissociation constant (Ka) of the two or more species of acid, and D2 is the current density when the aluminum substrate is anodized under the same conditions (a) in the same electrolytic solution as that of (a).
Process for producing a surface covering with an embossed printed surface
A process for producing a surface covering with an embossed printed surface is described. A substrate (16) is continuously moved through a production line, and this substrate (16) is first provided, in a printing equipment (12), with a printed pattern and thereafter, in an embossing equipment (14), with an embossed pattern, which is registered with the printed pattern. The printing equipment (12) produces the printed pattern in-line with the production of the embossed pattern. During printing in the printing equipment (12), the printed pattern is stretched or compressed, dynamically responsive to indicators of misalignments between the printed pattern and the embossed pattern, so as to correct or prevent the misalignments. A production line for carrying out this process is also proposed.
