A cutting head body for an agricultural machine, such as a mower or a trimmer, is configured to receive a cutting line for cutting weeds, grass, or other materials. The cutting head body includes an inlet area having a cavity with a node location configured to receive a node of a cutting line, and an outlet area having a cavity configured to open to an exterior of the cutting head body. The cutting head body may include a first passageway connecting the inlet area to the outlet area and a second passageway connecting the inlet area to the outlet area. The cutting head body is rotatable about a rotational axis to move the cutting line. In some embodiments, the cutting head body is fixed to a rotatable shaft. In some embodiments, the cutting head body rotates about a fixed shaft.

A string trimmer attachment assembly for edging a lawn includes a weed trimmer that has a pole, a gear head that is coupled to the pole and a trimming head that is rotatably coupled to the gear head. The gear head is angled between the pole and the trimming head. A rolling unit is removably coupled to the pole of the weed trimmer. The rolling unit is oriented to extend along a perpendicular axis with respect to a rotational axis of the trimming head. Additionally, the rolling unit horizontally orients the rotational axis of the trimming head when the rolling unit is positioned to roll along a support surface. In this way the trimming head is positioned to perform edging along a vertical edge.

A string trimmer attachment assembly for edging a lawn includes a weed trimmer that has a pole, a gear head that is coupled to the pole and a trimming head that is rotatably coupled to the gear head. The gear head is angled between the pole and the trimming head. A rolling unit is removably coupled to the pole of the weed trimmer. The rolling unit is oriented to extend along a perpendicular axis with respect to a rotational axis of the trimming head. Additionally, the rolling unit horizontally orients the rotational axis of the trimming head when the rolling unit is positioned to roll along a support surface. In this way the trimming head is positioned to perform edging along a vertical edge.

The string trimmer includes a connecting rod, a string trimmer head, and an operation part. The string trimmer head includes a trimmer line, a spool, a housing, and a streamlined protection structure. The spool is configured to wind the trimmer line and is capable of rotating about a first axis. The housing has an accommodating cavity for accommodating at least part of the spool and a threading hole for the trimmer line to extend to an outer side of the housing. The protection structure includes a head, a tail and a passage through which the trimmer line penetrates. The head is connected to the housing, the tail extends on the outer side of the housing, and the passage is configured to accommodate the trimmer line penetrating through the threading hole and expose the trimmer line out of the tail of the protection structure.

An autonomous lawn mower (100) and a system for navigating the same are disclosed. The autonomous lawn mower (100) comprises a mower body (102) having at least one motor (210) arranged to drive a cutting blade (212b) and to propel the mower body (102) on an operating surface via a wheel arrangement. The mower body (102) includes a navigation system (204) arranged to assist a controller (202) to control the operation of the mower body (102) within the predefined operating area (208). The system comprises a plurality of navigation modules (202), each arranged to obtain individual navigation information associated with the navigation of the autonomous mower (100). The navigation modules (202) operate to generate a virtual representation of the operation area (208) of the lawn mower (100) during an initialization mode, and the virtual representation of the operation area (208) is processed with the obtained navigation information during the operation of the lawn mower (100).
