A pipe liner and a method of using the same are provided. The method includes inserting a pipe liner impregnated with a resinous material into a length of pipe, where the pipe liner has an outer diameter substantially equal to or greater than an inner diameter of the pipe. A bladder having an unstretched outer diameter less than the inner diameter of at least a portion of the length of pipe and capable of stretching circumferentially is inserted into the pipe liner. The bladder is expanded under fluid pressure against the pipe liner, pressing the pipe liner against an inner wall of the length of pipe. The resinous material is allowed to cure and harden, leaving a renewed pipe wall. The length of pipe may have a plurality of inner diameters, and the bladder stretches to produce a smooth interior surface of the pipe liner across the plurality of pipe diameters.

A pipe liner and a method of using the same are provided. The method includes inserting a pipe liner impregnated with a resinous material into a length of pipe, where the pipe liner has an outer diameter substantially equal to or greater than an inner diameter of the pipe. The invention relates to a device (10) for pulling in, and in particular curing, a pipeline liner (40), the device comprising a housing (11) having a first end piece (12) and a second end piece (14) opposite one another, a housing body (16) extending between the end pieces (12, 14), and a power supply line connected to the first end piece (12), in which device an electromagnet (45) which is coupled to the power supply line and can be energized thereby is provided on the second end piece (14), in particular on the free end face thereof.

The invention relates to a device (10) for pulling in, and in particular curing, a pipeline liner (40), the device comprising a housing (11) having a first end piece (12) and a second end piece (14) opposite one another, a housing body (16) extending between the end pieces (12, 14), and a power supply line connected to the first end piece (12), in which device an electromagnet (45) which is coupled to the power supply line and can be energized thereby is provided on the second end piece (14), in particular on the free end face thereof.

A pipe liner for lining the inside of a pipe, for example a water or sewerage pipe requiring repair. The pipe liner is mainly formed of a fabric sleeve, or a plurality of fabric sleeves, and comprises a ribbon or strip of fibrous material along a longitudinal seam which reinforces the longitudinal seam. The pipe liners may be suitable for use in repairing damaged or degraded pipes and may provide an improvement in the tensile and/or flexural strength of the longitudinal seam compared to a similar pipe liner with a simple butt-stitched longitudinal seam, whilst not suffering from the disadvantages of reinforced welded seam which can be difficult to turn inside out during installation. The present invention also provides a method of manufacturing such a pipe liner, a pipe lining formed from such a pipe liner and a pipe comprising such a pipe lining.

The invention relates to a device (10) lot curing a pipeline lining, wherein the pipeline lining comprises a resin which is curable by means of electromagnetic radiation of a specified wavelength or of a specified wavelength range, comprising a housing (11) with a first (12) and a second (14) opposite end piece and with a housing body (16) which extends between the end pieces (12, 14) and with an electrical current and cooling fluid feed line which is connected to die first end piece (12), wherein the housing body (16) has radially extending arms (26), on the outer end surfaces of which here is arranged in each case at least one light-emitting diode (28), which light-emitting diodes emit light of the specified wavelength or of the specified wavelength range and are connected to the electrical current feed line, and wherein, between the arms (26), the housing (10) has cooling fluid passage openings (32) which are coupled to the cooling fluid feed line and which extend in a longitudinal direction at least in certain sections through the housing body (16), wherein the cooling fluid passage openings (32) are delimited radially to the outside in the region of the housing body (16) by longitudinal webs (24), and wherein, between the longitudinal webs (24) and the arms (26) and/or the light-emitting diodes (28) arranged on the arms (26), there is at least one gap-like outlet opening (34), which extends in a longitudinal direction, for the cooling fluid.

The invention relates to a device (10) lot curing a pipeline lining, wherein the pipeline lining comprises a resin which is curable by means of electromagnetic radiation of a specified wavelength or of a specified wavelength range, comprising a housing (11) with a first (12) and a second (14) opposite end piece and with a housing body (16) which extends between the end pieces (12, 14) and with an electrical current and cooling fluid feed line which is connected to die first end piece (12), wherein the housing body (16) has radially extending arms (26), on the outer end surfaces of which here is arranged in each case at least one light-emitting diode (28), which light-emitting diodes emit light of the specified wavelength or of the specified wavelength range and are connected to the electrical current feed line, and wherein, between the arms (26), the housing (10) has cooling fluid passage openings (32) which are coupled to the cooling fluid feed line and which extend in a longitudinal direction at least in certain sections through the housing body (16), wherein the cooling fluid passage openings (32) are delimited radially to the outside in the region of the housing body (16) by longitudinal webs (24), and wherein, between the longitudinal webs (24) and the arms (26) and/or the light-emitting diodes (28) arranged on the arms (26), there is at least one gap-like outlet opening (34), which extends in a longitudinal direction, for the cooling fluid.

The invention relates to an apparatus (10) for inserting a pipeline lining (80) into a pipe (100) and for final positioning of the pipeline lining (80) inserted in a pipe (100). According to the invention, the apparatus comprises a housing (20), especially a drum-shaped housing, wherein a winding apparatus (25) is formed in the housing (20) and an attachment element (35), especially an attachment ring, is formed on a first housing opening (21), wherein either a cover plate (45) or an inverter add-on (40) is fastened to an at least second housing opening (22), wherein, in a first state for inserting the pipeline lining (80), the inverter add-on (40) and, in a second state for final positioning of the pipeline lining (80), the cover plate (45) is fastened to the second housing opening (22).

The invention relates to an apparatus (10) for inserting a pipeline lining (80) into a pipe (100) and for final positioning of the pipeline lining (80) inserted in a pipe (100). According to the invention, the apparatus comprises a housing (20), especially a drum-shaped housing, wherein a winding apparatus (25) is formed in the housing (20) and an attachment element (35), especially an attachment ring, is formed on a first housing opening (21), wherein either a cover plate (45) or an inverter add-on (40) is fastened to an at least second housing opening (22), wherein, in a first state for inserting the pipeline lining (80), the inverter add-on (40) and, in a second state for final positioning of the pipeline lining (80), the cover plate (45) is fastened to the second housing opening (22).
