Nozzle Assembly and Method for Fluid Dispensing
A fluid delivery system for dispensing fluid can include a dispenser, such as a trigger engine-type dispenser, configured to draw fluid up from a container. A nozzle assembly can include a nozzle, and a nozzle slide. The nozzle slide can be configured to slide and/or rotate relative to the shroud to provide different dispensing modes. In alternative examples, the nozzle can be configured to rotate in 30 degree increments relative to the shroud to provide the different dispensing modes or the nozzle assembly can include a nozzle extension, and the nozzle extension can be configured to rotate relative to the shroud to provide different dispensing patterns out of the nozzle. In another example a first nozzle can be configured to provide one or more dispensing modes, and a second nozzle can be configured to provide a different dispensing mode than the first nozzle. Methods of dispensing fluids and methods of assembling fluid dispensers are also disclosed.
Process for forming a sleeve on a container
A process for forming a sleeve on a container including the steps of: providing a container; placing a shrink sleeve around the container; conforming the shrink sleeve to the container by shrinking the shrink sleeve; providing a predetermined removeable portion in the shrink sleeve; providing a striker moving tangentially relative to the predetermined removeable portion; and removing the predetermined removeable portion by contacting the striker to the predetermined removeable portion.
Sleeving device and method for arranging tubular sleeves around containers
The invention relates to a sleeving device, a set of a mandrel and collector and a method for arranging a sleeve around a product, such as a container, wherein static charges on the sleeve are reduced. Foil is fed over a mandrel, is cut into sleeves, and ejected over containers. According to the invention static charge is removed from the sleeve's inner surface by collecting static charge in a collector arranged on the mandrel. The collector includes electrical filaments positioned along an inner circumference of the sleeve. The charge is discharged afterwards, e.g. using a spark gap, via a discharger mounted on the frame and connected to the earth.
Process for forming a sleeve on a container
A process for forming a sleeve on a container including the steps of: providing a container having a shrink sleeve conformed to the container, the shrink sleeve having a predetermined removeable portion; providing a striker moving tangentially relative to the predetermined removeable portion; and removing the predetermined removeable portion by contacting the striker to the predetermined removeable portion.
MANDREL FOR SLEEVE LABELER
A mandrel extension (10) for use in a sleeve film labeler. The mandrel extension may include a body (12), a first guide rail (30) and a second guide rail (32). The body has a front face (16), a rear face (18), a first end (14) and two elongated sides (20, 22). The first guide rail is attached to one of the two elongated sides and the second guide rail is attached to the other of the two elongated sides. At least one of the first guide rail and the second guide rail may extend outward from the body to define a width of the mandrel extension relative to a travel direction of the sleeve film.
