A dual function tool head including a first selectively deployable cutting tool configured to automatically deploy when the tool head rotates in a first direction and automatically move to a stowed position when the tool head rotates in a second direction opposite the first direction; and a second selectively deployable cutting tool configured to automatically deploy when the tool head rotates in the second direction and automatically moved to a stowed position when the tool head rotates in the first direction.

A power tool ensemble includes at least a power head, a first shaft coupler, and a second shaft coupler, for use with tool heads of landscaping tools. The power head includes a motor and a power shaft mechanically coupled to the motor. Each shaft coupler includes a power shaft connecter for connecting to the power shaft, and a shaft-specific connecter for connecting to tool shafts of the tool heads. In each shaft coupler, the power shaft connecter is mechanically coupled to the shaft-specific connecter. A method of refurbishing a handheld landscape power tool includes separating an original motor of the power tool from a tool head of the power tool. The tool head includes a tool shaft extending proximate to the original motor. A replacement power head and a shaft coupler are provided. The replacement power head includes a motor and a power shaft mechanically coupled to the motor. The shaft coupler includes a power shaft connecter coupled to a shaft-specific connecter. The replacement power head is coupled to the shaft coupler by connecting the power shaft connecter to the power shaft of the replacement power head. The tool head is coupled to the shaft coupler by connecting the shaft-specific connecter to the tool shaft of the tool head.

A method of refurbishing a handheld landscape power tool includes separating an original motor of the power tool from a tool head of the power tool. The tool head includes a tool shaft extending proximate to the original motor. A replacement power head and a shaft coupler are provided. The replacement power head includes a motor and a power shaft mechanically coupled to the motor. The shaft coupler includes a power shaft connecter coupled to a shaft-specific connecter. The replacement power head is coupled to the shaft coupler by connecting the power shaft connecter to the power shaft of the replacement power head. The tool head is coupled to the shaft coupler by connecting the shaft-specific connecter to the tool shaft of the tool head.

The disclosure provides a string trimmer. The string trimmer includes a protective shield, a first motor, a blade and a fan. The first motor is arranged on one side of the protective shield, and a first rotation shaft of the first motor penetrates the protective shield to the other side of the protective shield. The blade is arranged on the other side of the protective shield, and the blade is connected with the first rotation shaft. The fan is arranged on the same side as the first motor, and the fan is mounted on the protective shield through a second rotation shaft. Wherein, a rotation speed ratio between the second rotation shaft and the first rotation shaft ranges from 0.5 to 4. With the string trimmer of the disclosure, the rotation speed of the blade and the fan are different.

A grass trimmer includes a grass trimmer head, a drive device, and an operating member. The grass trimmer head includes a spool used for a grass trimmer rope to be wound around and a head housing for accommodating at least part of the spool. The drive device is configured to drive the grass trimmer head to rotate. The operating member is connected to the drive device and includes an operating portion for a user to operate. The grass trimmer has a winding mode. In the case where the grass trimmer is in the winding mode, movement of the operating member is transmitted to the spool or the head housing through the drive device so as to generate relative movement that is between the spool and the head housing and through which the grass trimmer rope is wound around the spool.

A handheld driving apparatus is provided for mowing or cutting an object. The driving apparatus comprises: a container, a lock member, a trigger lever, and an action unit. The container is configured to extend from a rear side where a user is located toward a front side where the object is located. The lock member is configured to move between a first position and a second position, a straight line connecting the first position and the second position extending in a direction in which the container extends or in a direction orthogonal to a direction in which the container extends. The trigger lever is configured to move between a third position and a fourth position, to be restricted from moving to the fourth position when the lock member is at the first position, and not to be restricted from moving to the fourth position when the lock member is at the second position. The action unit is provided on the front side of the container, and is configured to drive in such a manner that a mechanical action for mowing or cutting the object can be applied to the object when the trigger lever is at the fourth position.
