Hand-held horizontal rotary trimmer with vented baffle
A lawn mower includes a housing with a baffle that defines an air path to produce a cross-flow. The baffle includes a vent to manipulate air pressures within the housing and facilitate movement of plant clippings. A hand-held device for trimming with a rotary blade assembly may also include a housing that defines an air path to produce a cross-flow. The hand-held trimming device may also a baffle with a vent to facilitate movement of plant clippings.
Arrangement for fastening a cutting head; portable work appliance having an arrangement for fastening a cutting head
An arrangement includes an output shaft, a cutting head, at least one cutting tool arranged on the cutting head, and a hood. The cutting head is mounted on the output shaft by a screw element held in a rotationally fixed manner on the cutting head. The hood is held on the output shaft in a rotationally fixed manner, and has ribs in the inner region, and a first grip region in the outer region.

GARDENING TOOL WITH IDENTIFICATION FUNCTION
A gardening tool with identification function including an operating unit and a working unit is provided. The operating unit includes a first main body, a first electrical connector, and an operating device. The first electrical connector is set at one end of the first main body. The operating device includes a processor electrically connected to the first electrical connector. The processor stores operating parameters. The working unit includes a second main body, a second electrical connector, a motor, and a work piece. The electrical property of the second electrical connector is corresponding to one operating parameter in the processor. When the second main body is connected to the first main body, the second electrical connector is electrically connected to the first electrical connector. The processor selects one operating parameter according to the electrical property of the second electrical connector to control the output rotational speed or power of the motor.
TREE SAW
A tree saw attachment for a modular landscape trimmer is disclosed. In one embodiment, the tree saw attachment is provided with a drive unit having a drive shaft operably connectable to a motive source and a transmission operably connected to the drive shaft. An anvil is connected to and extending from an output side of the transmission of the drive unit, and a blade is connected to the output shaft of the transmission. The blade has an arcuate outer peripheral edge with teeth formed along a portion thereof forming a cutting edge so as the output shaft is rotated, the distance between the cutting edge and a central axis of the output shaft increases until the blade has substantially completed one rotation. Rotation of the blade causes the blade to move transversely with respect to the anvil to engage and cut material positioned between the blade and the anvil.
STRING TRIMMER WITH POLE BREAK
The invention is directed to an outdoor device, preferably a string trimmer, having a hinged pole for folding the string trimmer. The hinge has an easy to use lock that allows for repeated folding of the trimmer for easy transport and storage. The string trimmer has a battery at a rear end of the pole near the handle, and a motor at a front end on the cutting head. An electrical cable is run from the battery to the motor to provide power to the motor. The hinge provides a protective sheath around the cable to protect it from damage when the string trimmer is folded and the cable might otherwise be exposed. Additionally, the string trimmer includes a guard around the cutting head that contacts a battery housing to secure the string trimmer in a folded position.
GARDENING MACHINE
A gardening machine is provided, including a rod portion, a controlling portion, a switch assembly and a locking member. The rod portion has a machine tool head. The switch assembly includes a controlling member, and the controlling member is disposed on the controlling portion and movable to be in a first position or a second position. The locking member is disposed on the controlling portion and movable to be in a locked position or a released position, when the locking member is in the locked position, the controlling member is restricted and positioned in the second position.
Portable powered appliance support strap
An example powered appliance support strap may include a first portion to extend from a continuous loop of a shoulder strap, a second portion to extend from a powered appliance to be manually carried by a person wearing the shoulder strap and a stretcher extending between the first portion and the second portion. The stretcher does not undergo stretching until experiencing a stretch triggering load at least 1 kg and no greater than 7 kg.
Weed wacker
A mono-filament whip type weed cutter incorporating a pivotable shaft that enables the weed cutter to reach otherwise inaccessible weeds. The mono-filament whip type weed cutter includes two interconnected first and second trimmer support shafts. A rotating wheel connected to one end of the pivotable shaft. A power source is connected to an opposite end of the pivotable shaft. A hinge joint including a sprocket is disposed between and interconnecting the first and second trimmer support shafts. A gear lock bar secures the sprocket in place to position the first and second trimmer support shafts with respect to each other.
