The mono-filament whip type weed cutter includes two interconnected first and second trimmer support shafts. A rotating wheel connected to one end of the pivotable shaft. A power source is connected to an opposite end of the pivotable shaft. A hinge joint including a sprocket is disposed between and interconnecting the first and second trimmer support shafts. A gear lock bar secures the sprocket in place to position the first and second trimmer support shafts with respect to each other.

A carrying device for carrying a hand-guided power tool by a user has a shoulder strap and a lateral leg plate with a connecting unit for coupling a power tool to the carrying device. A support strap is connected with one end to the shoulder strap and the leg plate is slidably arranged at the support strap to slide along the support strap in a longitudinal direction thereof. A fixation device is arranged between support strap and leg plate and has a release position and a blocking position. In the release position, the leg plate is slidable along the support strap; in the blocking position, the leg plate is non-slidably secured on the support strap. The blocking position is correlated with a first working mode of the power tool; the release position is correlated with a second working mode of the power tool.

The device herein is an attachment means that may be reversibly coupled to a standard, commercially-available gas or electric weed trimmer. A working machine according to one aspect of the present disclosure comprises an operation rod, a leading end unit, a rear end unit, and a drive permitter. The operation rod is configured to be transformable between an extended state and a non-extended state. The leading end unit is provided at one end of the operation rod. The leading end unit comprises a motor configured to drive a working element. The rear end unit is provided at the other end of the operation rod. The rear end unit comprises a controller configured to control driving of the motor. The drive permitter is configured to permit driving of the motor when the operation rod is in the extended state and not to permit driving of the motor when the operation rod is in the non-extended state.

Provided is a portable brush cutter with reduced weight and size due to its simple structure with a small number of components that is capable of improving durability and the like as well as effectively suppressing torsional vibration of a transmission shaft. In the portable brush cutter, a one-way clutch to prevent generation of torsional vibration in a rotation transmission path is interposed between an output shaft and a transmission shaft, and bearings are adjacently mounted on the opposite sides of the one-way clutch.
