Dual cure method using Zerewitinoff-active H tin catalysts
The invention relates to a method for producing an object from a construction material, the construction material comprising radically crosslinkable groups, NCO groups and groups having Zerewitinoff active H atoms, and the object being a three-dimensional object and/or a layer. During and/or after the production of the object, the construction material is heated to a temperature of >50° C., and the construction material comprises one or more cyclic tin compounds of formula F-I, F-II and/or F-III.

A photocurable composition for three-dimensional stereolithography which has a lower viscosity and from which a cured product having a high refractive index is obtained, and a three-dimensional object formed by using the composition. The composition is a photocurable composition for three-dimensional stereolithography containing a fluorene monomer, a carbazole monomer, a diluent monomer, and a photopolymerization initiator, the carbazole monomer being contained in an amount of less than 30 wt % with respect to the total amount of the fluorene monomer and the carbazole monomer, and the diluent monomer being contained in an amount of at least 20 wt % with respect to total solids.
Dual cure resin for the production of moisture-resistant articles by additive manufacturing
Provided herein is a dual cure resin useful for the production of objects by stereolithography, said resin comprising a mixture of: (a) a light-polymerizable component; and (b) a heat-polymerizable component, said heat-polymerizable component comprising: (i) a dicyclopentadiene-containing polyepoxide resin; (ii) a cyanate ester resin; (iii) an epoxy-reactive toughening agent; and (iv) a core shell rubber toughener.

Provided herein is a dual cure resin useful for the production of objects by stereolithography, said resin comprising a mixture of: (a) a light-polymerizable component; and (b) a heat-polymerizable component, said heat-polymerizable component comprising: (i) a dicyclopentadiene-containing polyepoxide resin; (ii) a cyanate ester resin; (iii) an epoxy-reactive toughening agent; and (iv) a core shell rubber toughener.
INHIBITION OF CRYSTALLIZATION IN POLYURETHANE RESINS
A resin composition useful for additive manufacturing is provided, which resin composition may exhibit improved shelf life through inhibition of crystallization. Such resin composition may include a crystallization inhibitor as taught herein, and/or a prepolymer produced by reaction of an isocyanate with multiple isomers and comprising a lower percentage of the structurally symmetric isomer. Methods of forming a three-dimensional object using such resin composition are also provided.

A resin composition useful for additive manufacturing is provided, which resin composition may exhibit improved shelf life through inhibition of crystallization. Such resin composition may include a crystallization inhibitor as taught herein, and/or a prepolymer produced by reaction of an isocyanate with multiple isomers and comprising a lower percentage of the structurally symmetric isomer. Methods of forming a three-dimensional object using such resin composition are also provided.

Some variations provide a composition for additive manufacturing (3D printing) of metals, comprising: from 10 vol % to 70 vol % of a photocurable liquid resin; from 10 vol % to 70 vol % of metal or metal alloy particles, optionally configured with a photoreflective surface; and from 0.01 vol % to 10 vol % of a photoinitiator. Other variations provide a composition for additive manufacturing of metals, comprising: from 1 vol % to 70 vol % of a photocurable liquid resin; from 0.1 vol % to 98 vol % of an organometallic compound containing a first metal; from 1 vol % to 70 vol % of metal or metal alloy particles containing a second metal (which may be the same as or different than the first metal); and from 0.01 vol % to 10 vol % of a photoinitiator. Many examples of metals, photocurable resins, organometallic compounds, photoinitiators, and optional additives are disclosed, and methods of making and using the composition are described.
