METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A WORKPIECE
A method of manufacturing a workpiece includes heating a pre-formed blank of a first fiber reinforced thermoplastic material in an oven. A second fiber reinforced thermoplastic material is heated in an extruder. The second fiber reinforced thermoplastic material is extruded from the extruder, within the oven, to form an extrudate. The extrudate is positioned on the pre-formed blank of the first fiber reinforced thermoplastic material, within the oven, to form a composite blank. The extrudate may be formed into a shape before being positioned onto the pre-formed blank, after being positioned onto the pre-formed blank. The composite blank may then be transferred to a final shaping station.
Method and device for applying protective sheeting of polymer material to a pipeline
A method of applying protective sheeting of polymer material to a pipeline extending along a longitudinal axis and having a cutback bounded at opposite axial ends by two end portions of respective protective coatings of polymer material, the method including directly heating the free faces of the end portions; extruding and simultaneously winding about the pipeline a protective sheeting wide enough to cover the cutback and the end portions; and compressing the protective sheeting against the pipeline, the end portions included.
Extruded and Labelled Packaging Tube
The invention relates to a method for the extrusion and labelling of a packaging tube (14), comprising the following successive steps performed on an extrusion-labelling line, namely: a) forming a partially or fully tubular label (17) from a film (12); b) introducing the label (17) into a calibration element (22); c) extruding a tubular body (13) on the side of the concave surface of the label (17); d) bringing the external surface of the tubular body (13) into contact with the concave surface of the label (17), step (c) being performed in the calibration element (22). The invention also relates to an extrusion-labelling device and a packaging tube.
Fuel tank of thermoplastic polymer for a motor vehicle and method for the production of a fuel tank
The invention relates to a fuel tank of thermoplastic polymer for a motor vehicle, having at least one reinforcing element inside the fuel tank, the reinforcing element inside the fuel tank extending between opposing tank walls (15), parts of the reinforcing element passing through the tank wall and parts of the reinforcing element engaging behind the tank wall from outside, the fuel tank being distinguished according to the invention in that the reinforcing element (8) is provided with at least one multipart fastening head (11), which comprises a first closing means engaging through the tank wall (15) from inside and a second closing means engaging through the tank wall (15) from outside, which closing means are of mutually complementary construction.
FOAM STRUCTURAL MATERIAL, RESIN PANEL, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A RESIN PANEL
A foam structural material includes a first core material and a reinforcing material. The first core material has a first portion of a linear groove part formed along an edge of the first core material. The reinforcing material has a first side fitted to the first portion of the linear groove part. The first portion of the linear groove part includes a first engagement plane. The first engagement plane is engaged with the reinforcing material and has one or a plurality of projections formed thereon.
INTERIOR/EXTERIOR COVERING MEMBER FOR AUTOMOBILE, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
An interior/exterior covering member for an automobile having excellent sound-absorbing performance is provided. The interior/exterior covering member includes an air-permeable fiber layer 2 and a thermoplastic resin layer 3 laminated on one surface of the fiber layer 2. The melt flow rate of the thermoplastic resin is in a range of 2 g/10 min to 500 g/10 min, and a plurality of through-holes 11 penetrating the resin layer in the thickness direction is formed in the thermoplastic resin layer 3.
LIQUID VEHICLE TANK COMPRISING A FASTENED COMPONENT
A liquid vehicle tank (1) having a wall made of a plastic material, the tank (1) comprising a component (3, 5) affixed to the wall, the component (3, 5) having a portion (10) embedded in the wall, the embedded portion (10) having an external surface (21) a part of which is chemically incompatible with the plastic material of the wall, wherein the tank (1) also comprises a strengthening element welded to the wall over the embedded portion (10) of the component (3, 5).
Method for producing a plastic container
A method for producing a plastic container from a first plastic half-shell and a second plastic half-shell, with a first attachment permanently fastened to the first plastic half-shell.
Honeycomb sandwich sheet or panel, based on polypropylene, with a number of central thermoformed films
A honeycomb sandwich sheet or panel, based on thermoplastic polypropylene, includes a structure having two flat outer films, at the top and bottom, welded to at least two inner or central thermoformed blister films, repeated in a regular and continuous pattern, wherein the at least two inner thermoformed films are welded to each other.
RESIN MOLDED ARTICLE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
A resin molded article includes a thermosetting resin member and a thermoplastic resin member sealing a sealed surface of the thermosetting resin member. An exposed surface of the thermosetting resin member is exposed to an outside of the thermoplastic resin member. An additive having a functional group is added to the thermoplastic resin member. The thermosetting resin member has a surface layer on at least a part of the sealed surface, and the surface layer is made of a thermosetting resin higher in concentration of a carboxyl group or concentration of a phenol group than the underlying thermosetting resin. The carboxyl group or the phenol group present in the surface layer is chemically bonded to the functional group present in the additive.
