A method for manufacturing a liquid discharge head includes a transferring step of transferring a dry film supported by a supporting member to a substrate having a hole, and a peeling step of peeling the supporting member off the dry film on the substrate. In the peeling step, the dry film is in contact with a wall surface defining the hole in the substrate.

Provided is a method for producing a cured product of a heat-curable maleimide resin composition, that causes no curing failure and no appearance failure associated therewith. The method is for producing a cured product of a heat-curable maleimide resin composition containing: (A) a maleimide compound having at least one dimer acid frame-derived hydrocarbon group per molecule; and (B) a radical polymerization initiator,
wherein the method includes: a laminating step of obtaining a laminate by laminating a release sheet, a resin layer made of the heat-curable maleimide resin composition, and a base material, in such order; and a curing step of heating the laminate to a temperature at which the heat-curable maleimide resin composition of the resin layer cures, without removing the release sheet of the laminate.

A packaging article has tear initiators for initiating a manual tear that can be propagated to open a package and allow a product to be readily removed therefrom, without the use of a knife or scissors or any other implement. The packaging article is made from a heat-shrinkable multilayer film having at least one layer containing an incompatible polymer blend, and/or a layer containing an inorganic filler, and/or a layer having a high Young's modulus. The film also has a Peak Load Impact Strength of at least 50 Newtons per mil, The tear initiators can be used to generate a manual machine direction tears to open the package, with the manual machine direction tear being capable of propagating in the machine direction to the opposite edge of the packaging article. A process for making a package and manually opening the package is also disclosed.

A method for producing a decorated wall or floor panel comprises: a) providing a first molten polymer mass and a second molten polymer mass; b) extruding the molten polymer masses, wherein in particular each polymer mass is extruded by a separate extruder, wherein the molten polymer masses are layered on top of each other; c) expelling the layered molten polymer masses through a die; and d) calibrating the layered molten polymer masses in order to form a plate-shaped carrier comprising at least one carrier layer comprising the first polymer mass and a sealable layer contacting the carrier layer and comprising the second polymer mass. Furthermore, the disclosure relates to plate-shaped carriers and decorative panels produced in this way, and to a device for carrying out the method.
