Method of bundling bristles to be used in paint brushes, a paint brush head comprising a plurality of bristles and a paint brush comprising a plurality of bristles and/or a paint brush head
The present invention concerns a method of bundling a plurality of monofilaments into a bundle of monofilaments by means of a laser, a paint brush head including such bundle of monofilaments and a paint brush including such paint brush head.
Rotatable Pipe Adapter
A pipe adapter includes a first tubular element, a second tubular element, and an annular securing member disposed around and fixed to a second portion of the first tubular element. The annular securing member has a flange portion that contacts and secures the second tubular element axially relative to the first tubular element while also allowing the second tubular element to rotate relative to the first tubular element and the annular securing member. An annular sealing member is located around the first portion of the second tubular element to provide an axial seal along the adapter.
Stacked rolling vehicle track
A roller coaster track may comprise a laminate and a metal bearing layer. A method of manufacturing a roller coaster track may comprise manufacturing a laminate, manufacturing a metal bearing layer, and assembling the laminate and bearing layer. The bearing layer may be at least partially filled with grout. A method of repairing a wood roller coaster track may comprise removing a layer of laminate, and replacing the layer with a metal bearing layer.
ULTRASONICALLY WELDED MAT UNIT AND SYSTEM THEREOF
A mat unit is formed from at least two layers ultrasonically welded together. Each layer is individually formed from non-vinyl nontoxic thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) material. In ultrasonically joining the two layers together, there is no need to use additional materials, such as adhesive (i.e., chemical attachment) or stitched thread (i.e., mechanical attachment) to form the joint/weld point. Once formed from the two layers, the mat unit has four quadrants and a plurality of longitudinal ribs integrally formed in the first layer positioned in the first and third quadrants, and a plurality of transverse ribs integrally formed in the first layer positioned in the second and fourth quadrants. Additionally, there are a plurality of longitudinal ribs integrally formed in the second layer positioned in the second and fourth quadrants, and a plurality of transverse ribs integrally formed in the second layer positioned in the first and third quadrants.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING STABILIZER
A stabilizer manufacturing apparatus for manufacturing a stabilizer to which rubber bushes are heat-bonded is provided with a curing furnace in which high-frequency induction heating is performed, a conveyor for conveying the stabilizer in a conveying direction through the curing furnace, the rubber bushes being pressure-bonded to bonding locations on the stabilizer on which an adhesive layer is formed, power supply devices for supplying power to coils used in the high-frequency induction heating, and coils for generating a magnetic field in portions to be heated of the stabilizer near the bonding locations and for heating the portions to be heated; the coils being separated by a predetermined distance from the portions to be heated of a predetermined number of stabilizers conveyed in the conveying direction.
TUBING AND JUNCTION ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
A tubing and junction assembly and method of making the same are disclosed. The assembly includes a shell having a bore extending from a first opening to a second opening, and a third opening extending from an exterior surface of the shell to a first end portion of the bore. A tubing is seated within the bore. A bonding agent is disposed between the tubing and the shell. The method of making the tubing and junction assembly includes forming or providing a shell, inserting an end of the tubing through the first opening into the shell, inserting a bonding agent through the third opening of the shell into a gap between the tubing and the shell, and curing the bonding agent to join the tubing to the shell.
Method Of Joining Polymeric Composites And Other Materials Using Self-Piercing Rivets
A method of joining first and second layers of material according to the principles of the present disclosure includes applying a layer of adhesive between the first and second layers and allowing the adhesive layer to at least partially cure. The method further includes piercing the first layer with a headless end of a rivet after the adhesive layer is cured, deforming the second layer with the headless end of the rivet, and bending the headless end of the rivet radially outward.
One-pack type adhesive and fuel cell separator
Provided is a one-pack type adhesive which contains (A) an epoxy resin, (B) a curing agent, (C) a curing accelerator, (D) an inorganic filler and (E) a polycarbodiimide compound, and wherein: the curing agent (B) contains at least one amine-based curing agent; the curing accelerator (C) contains at least one capsule type curing accelerator; the inorganic filler (D) contains at least one flake-like inorganic filler; and the content of the inorganic filler (D) is 10-200 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the epoxy resin (A).
Chemically joined sprinkler assembly and fitting with internal reservoir
A sprinkler assembly includes a sprinkler body and a tubular connection fitting. The tubular connection fitting includes a first end for connection to a fluid supply pipe and a second end with the sprinkler body inserted therein, the tubular member including an outer surface and an inner surface defining an internal conduit extending along a longitudinal axis, the inner surface of the tubular member includes a first stop surface spaced from the first end to define an insertion depth for the fluid supply pipe and a second stop surface to limit insertion of the sprinkler body into the second end. The first stop surface defines an annular channel for housing an end of the fluid supply pipe.
Method for manufacturing multilayer member
A method for manufacturing a multilayer member that provides excellent adhesiveness without using a primer. An embodiment of the present invention provides a method for manufacturing a multilayer member including a first member containing a crystalline thermoplastic resin, an adhesion layer, and a second member in this order, the method including a surface treatment step of performing dry treatment on a surface of the first member containing a crystalline thermoplastic resin, satisfying the following condition A, an adhesive application step of forming an adhesive layer in a surface subjected to the dry treatment of the first member by applying an adhesive to the surface subjected to the dry treatment of the first member without interposing a primer composition, and an adhering step of making the second member adhere onto the adhesive layer.
