SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SPIN WELDING FITTINGS TO MAPLE SAP LINES
A maple sap line system and method for spin welding provides secure, unobstructed lines for collecting sap by creating a hermetically sealed connection between a lateral line and a mainline. A fitting connects the mainline to the lateral line. The fitting is spin welded to the mainline at a contact interface. The fitting comprises a protruding member that easily melts to create the frictional weld. The fitting has an elongated body comprising barbs that receive the lateral line. The fitting has a channel that enables fluid communication between the mainline and the lateral line. The flanges in the fitting register with a chuck to rotate the fitting against the main line at a high rpm. Molten debris formed in the channel is dislodged by drilling with a collared drill. The drilling provides fluid communication and creates a smooth inner surface in the mainline, and cuts off flanges from the fitting.
Method and apparatus for shaping webs in a vertical form, fill, and sealing system
A method and apparatus for pleating or otherwise shaping a web are described herein. The method and apparatus may have numerous applications. In some embodiments, the method and apparatus are used in the formation, filling, and sealing of unit dose packages for consumer products. A method and apparatus for forming sealing two moving webs together, which webs have portions that are non-planar are also described herein.
Sealing device for coating package
The invention discloses a sealing device for coating package, including a machine body, wherein the machine body is provided with a sealing mouth, a conveying device is arranged on the lower side of the sealing mouth, and a coating barrel is placed on the conveying device, and the coating barrel is disposed in the coating barrel a sealing cavity is provided, an annular barrel opening is fixed on the upper end surface of the coating barrel, a winding device is arranged on the upper side of the sealing mouth, and a sealing film is included in the winding device, and the sealing sealing film is used in the invention by the heat sealing operation the film seals the barrel mouth, and then rotates the sealing cover and the paint bucket to seal the filling cavity of the paint placed in the paint bucket, and the double sealing operation improves the sealing performance of the paint bucket.

Vacuum Knife Tool
Cutting of a material, such as a textile or film, can damage the material. A tool is provided that utilizes vacuum pressure near a knife edge to increase a result of the cut. The vacuum pressure passes through a base portion of the tool that has a recessed portion effective to distribute vacuum pressure to one or more apertures extending around an insert of a core portion. The one or more apertures align with a void between the knife edge and the insert allowing for the void to transmit the vacuum pressure through the tool to the knife edge. A machine horn may then cut the material at the knife edge and couple the material with another material.
Spout Mounting Method
A spout is mounted on a plastic film being longitudinally and intermittently fed. The plastic film is punched by a punch blade to form an aperture. A carriage is moved for a distance corresponding to a space between the punch blade and a seal head and between a punch receiver and a seal receiver. The spout is inserted into the aperture. The spout and the plastic film are heat sealed with each other by the seal head.
TAPE PASTING MECHANISM WITH MULTIPLE FUNCTIONS OF CLUTCH-TYPE SYNCHRONOUS PUNCHING, TAPE PASTING AND CUTTING
Provided is a tape pasting mechanism with multiple functions of clutch-type synchronous punching, tape pasting and cutting which belongs to a tape pasting device for foil and includes a linear drive module, a clutch module, and following modules that are moved by the linear drive module: a punching module, a tape pasting module and a cutting module. The punching module includes a punching needle. The clutch module includes a punching bottom die that mates with the punching needle for punching. The clutch module is movable on the linear drive module together with the punching module.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING A BREATHABLE WEB AND RELATIVE WEB
A method for producing a breathable web, comprising: feeding a web on the surface of an anvil roller rotatable about its axis and having a plurality of welding protrusions cooperating with a welding element, welding said web at a plurality of welding spots on head surfaces of said welding protrusions and forming respective annular welding seams at said welding spots, about respective welding projections, and respective thin membranes located within said annular welding seams and adjacent to the head surfaces of said welding protrusions, and removing said thin membranes after said welding by means of a peeling roller having an outer surface tangent to said head surfaces of said welding protrusions.
Industrial fabric and method of welding seam area using ultrasonic welding
The invention relates to ultrasonic welding of industrial fabrics. Specifically, the invention relates to methods for ultrasonically welding the seam area of industrial fabrics using a textured horn and/or anvil. The fabric edges are overlapped as woven or one or both edges can have some warp or weft yarns raveled out. The method involves ultrasonically bonding the overlapped fabric edges, reducing the caliper of the two stacked edges to match the body caliper of the fabric itself. The bonded area can then be perforated using laser or other mechanical means to produce a seam having the same woven texture and permeability (air and/or water) as the body of the fabric.
