FLEXIBLE PACKAGE-FORMING MACHINE FOR HORIZONTAL PACKAGING BY MEANS OF FOLDING AND WELDING A FLEXIBLE BAND AND METHOD
The present invention relates to a machine comprising: an unwinding unit (11) for unwinding a flexible band (1), a folding unit (14) of a flexible band (1), a drive unit (31) configured for moving the flexible band (1) in a forward movement direction (DA), a welding unit (16) and a cutting unit (17) for cutting the flexible band, wherein the cutting unit (17) is a laser beam cutting unit (53) separating each individual flexible package from the flexible band (1) and providing a fill opening in each flexible package by means of at least one fill opening cut. The laser beam cutting unit (53) has associated therewith a separator device, movable in a vertical direction and including an insertable separator element (41), interposed between the opposite faces of the folded flexible band (1), in an area adjacent to the fill opening (3), for separating the opposite faces of the flexible band (1) during cutting operations to prevent the fusion thereof.
Method of forming a bonded package gusset
The present invention is directed to a method forming a bottom-gusseted package, wherein each package includes an inwardly-extending, pleat-like gusset at the bottom of the package. To permit heat-sealing formation of each package, the sleeve from which each gusset is formed comprises a lamination of two differing polymeric materials, so that only an exterior surface of each sleeve exhibits the desired heat-sealing characteristics. To facilitate package formation, the sleeves from which the bottom gussets are formed are maintained in a temporarily closed or sealed configuration during package formation by providing a preferably frangible bond or seal at the edge of each sleeve. This result is preferably achieved by folding the laminate material, and temporarily sealing or joining an outer layer of the laminate material from which gusset is formed, while an inner layer is maintained in an unsealed condition.
BINDING MACHINE AND METHOD FOR SECURING A PART OF A BINDING ELEMENT IN A LOOP AROUND ONE OR MORE OBJECTS
A binding machine comprising: a feeding device for feeding a binding element (3) in the form of a wire or strap in a loop around one or more objects to be bound and subsequently retracting the binding element to draw it tightly around said objects; and a laser welding device for forming a welded joint between a section at the leading end of the binding element and an adjoining section at the trailing end of the part (3a) of the binding element fed in a loop around said objects to thereby secure this part of the binding element in a loop around the objects. The laser welding device is configured to apply an identification marking on an outer surface of the binding element by means of a laser beam (14) emitted from a laser welding head of the laser welding device.
BINDING MACHINE AND METHOD FOR SECURING A PART OF A BINDING ELEMENT IN A LOOP AROUND ONE OR MORE OBJECTS
A binding machine comprising: a feeding device for feeding a binding element (3) in the form of a wire or strap around one or more objects and subsequently retracting the binding element to draw it tightly around said objects; and a laser welding device (12) for forming a welded joint between a first section at the leading end of the binding element and an adjoining second section at the trailing end of the part (3a) of the binding element fed around said objects to thereby secure this part of the binding element in a loop around the objects. The laser welding device directs a laser beam onto an area (30) at the trailing end of said second section in order to reduce the tensile strength of the binding element, wherein the feeding device retracts the binding element in order to subject this area to tensile stress and thereby cause the binding element to be broken off.
AUTOMOBILE INTERIOR TRIM
An automobile interior trim has a resin core material and a skin material that is joined on a surface of the resin core material. The automobile interior trim has stitches that are formed on the skin material by sewing the skin material with threads. The skin material and the stitches are cut by a laser beam to generate a cut section. The vicinity of the cut section has a structure in which threads of the stitches and the raw material of the skin material are melted by heat of the laser beam, mixed together, and solidified.
METHOD FOR LASER WELDING OF NON-TRANSMISSIVE COMPOSITE MATERIALS
A method for laser welding of non-transmissive composite materials includes: forming an energy channel having an end opening and extending through a first part made of a first material; and welding a second part made of a second material to the first part via laser heating of the materials of the first and second parts proximate to the end opening of the energy channel such that the materials of the first and second parts fuse to form a weld nugget, attaching the first part to the second part.
Method for manufacturing fused sheets
In the present invention, one surface of a belt-shaped sheet laminate (10), in which a plurality of sheets are laminated, is pressed against a support member (21) having a light passage section (27) through which a laser beam (30) can pass, and the belt-shaped sheet laminate (10) is irradiated, from the support member (21) side via the light passage section (27), with a laser beam (30) to cut and fusion-bond the belt-shaped sheet laminate (10), thereby sealed edge sections (4) are formed by fusion-bonding the edge sections of the plurality of sheets.
Device and method for adhering different kinds of materials
A device for adhering different kinds of materials is configured to adhere a metal material and a composite material having an adhering hole. The device includes a frame having first and second free ends that face each other. A laser head is provided at the first free end of the frame and irradiates a laser beam to an adhering point of the metal material. An upper tool moves back and forth at the first free end of the frame and presses the metal material. A lower tool is fixed to the second free end of the frame so as to correspond to the upper tool and supports an adhering point of the composite material. An air suction member is connected to the lower tool to suck air between the lower tool and the adhering hole of the composite material.
Method of producing and manufacturing gloves, and other personal protective equipment (PPE), using multi-ply flexible films
