FORAGE HARVESTER MATERIAL APPLICATOR SYSTEM AND RELATED METHOD
A system and related method of applying forage treatment material to harvested forage is provided. The system can include a mobile forage harvester having a chute, a vacuum source that produces a vacuum, and a bin that stores granular treatment material for dispensation. The chute can be joined with a catch tube having a catch opening. A tube can extend from the bin toward the catch tube, but can be separated from the catch opening by an open gap. The material can be dispensed from the tube into the open gap, and drawn across the open gap and into the catch opening with the vacuum so the material mixes with the harvested forage moving along the pathway in the chute under force of the vacuum. The bin, tubes and the open gap can be located in an interior compartment to protect them from the elements. A related method is provided.
SWATHBOARD CONTROL WITH WINDROW MERGER ATTACHMENT
A windrower has a crop merger attachment with a conveyor configured to receive crop material from a crop conditioning mechanism and direct the crop material to a side of the windrower, the crop merger attachment being mounted for adjusting movement between a lowered and a raised position. The windrower has a swathboard mounted for adjusting movement between a fully raised position in which the crop material passes beneath the swathboard for engagement with the merger attachment and a lowered position in which the crop material down to the ground under the merger attachment under the windrower. A control system automatically adjusts movement of the swathboard when movement of the merger attachment is detected.
VEHICLE WITH DEBRIS BLOWER AND LAWN MOWER
A riding vehicle may include a blower assembly, a mower deck, and a power source. The blower assembly may be configured to direct air from an air inlet to at least one air outlet to move surface debris. The mower deck may be configured to cut a lawn formed of grass or other vegetation. The blower assembly may be configured to direct air to an interior space of the mower deck for assisted discharge of cuttings.

Rear discharge mower deck with flow control baffles
A rotary mower cutting deck has a rear discharge opening across a rear end thereof and a center blade and a first side blade rotating in one direction and a second side blade counter-rotating in the opposite direction. A front flow control baffle has a first, rearwardly facing V-shaped apex located between the unidirectional blades and a second, rearwardly facing V-shaped apex between the center blade and the counter-rotating side blade. A first V-shaped flow deflector is mounted to the first apex with the first flow deflector pointing downwardly to cause many grass clippings from the first side blade to be directed to the rear discharge opening without passing to the center blade. A second V-shaped flow deflector is mounted to the second apex with the second flow deflector pointing upwardly to disrupt the convergence of the air flows from the center and second side blades.
Harvesting Machine having a Flail Cutter and a Moisture Removal Mechanism
A harvesting machine is disclosed along with a method of operation. The harvesting machine includes a frame having a flail cutter mounted on a first end of the frame. The flail cutter can cut the stems of growing plants. A housing surrounding a portion of the flail cutter for directing the cut plants rearward. An idler roller is positioned rearward of the flail cutter. First and second moisture removal mechanisms are positioned downstream of the cutting mechanism, and each includes a suction roll and a press roll. A moving belt forms a closed loop around the idler roller and the pair of suction and press rolls, and has a plurality of apertures formed therethrough. The moving belt forms first and second nips between each pair of suction and press rolls for squeezing moisture out of the cut stems as the stems are routed therebetween.

LOCKING BRACKET AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
A locking bracket and methods of using the same are disclosed. The locking bracket includes a rigid body and a locking pin slidably and rotatably coupled to the rigid body and movable between an unlocked position and a locked position. An engagement member can enter and exit the rigid body when the locking pin is in the unlocked position but is locked to the rigid body when the locking pin is in the locked position. Optionally, the rigid body may include a guide portion that guides the engagement member to a mounting position within the rigid body. The methods include swinging an attachment component towards a main body until the engagement member engages the locking bracket coupled to the main body, removing the locking pin from the unlocked position, and locking the attachment component to the bracket by placing the locking pin in the locked position.
ASSEMBLY FOR ADDING AMBIENT AIR TO THE CUTTING CHAMBER OF A WALK POWER MOWER
A walk power mower has a deck that provides a cutting chamber for enclosing a rotary grass cutting blade. An assembly is provided for adding ambient air to the cutting chamber during a grass mowing operation to improve performance. The assembly comprises an air vent placed in a top wall of the cutting chamber. An external cover outside of the cutting chamber and above the top wall of the cutting chamber has an air permeable section located forwardly of the air vent to admit air into the cover to thereby feed that air to the air vent. An internal cover inside the cutting chamber and below the top wall of the cutting chamber receives the air passing inwardly through the air vent and discharges such air into the cutting chamber at a location that is spaced from the air vent.
Vehicle with debris blower and lawn mower
